Hey guys,
I am trying really hard to speedrun this game but my character constantly falls straight through those platforms in Stage 2 and Stage 3 the enemies are on.
I tried jumping on them early, I tried waiting their "patterns" to stop and them jump, I even tried waiting like 10 seconds, but I just fall though dead in the middle of it.
Any help is appreciated. For what it's worth I play on the US version
Difficulty categories have been added. For new submissions, please include in your VOD the options menu showing the chosen difficulty.

I don't mind if it's an option or not but if it is, it should be an optional field, like everything else.

Now I am curious how RetroArch vs BizHawk compares, since they both use core systems.
Game plays very different than SNES that they should be in separate category.
Just a few things to consider when submitting runs.
-
You must be signed into your SRC account to see the Submit run button!
-
Availability: Post the time zone you are referring to for your availability. If not specified, we will assume EST.
-
Number of Runs: You can submit as many runs as you want, but please consider submitting them together as much as possible, so it's easier to track.
What can you submit? If you can speedrun it, submit it! We try to include both Retro style and Modern style games.
- Incentives: Make sure that your incentives specify how much more time we have to add to the run if it is met. You can specify more than 1 incentive.
Score Attack/Exhibition submissions: Select this if you'd like to offer something else than a speedrun, think of it as a half time show in a sporting event. Examples of this would be a music/instrument session, offering some sort of comedy arrangement, Presenting/talking about other gaming related content, etc.

Are intentional deaths permitted in Warpless?
For example Stage 3 we normally d boost everything.setup the elevator warp, then die at the bottom of the fall right at the checkpoint. Can we still do that (minus the warp of course)
As an unbiased opinion/ non runner on the matter, every run on the leaderboards split on the "Dark screen fade". The only exception is Zoast Splitting on Last hit. In my opinion there is no debate as to where the split should be/how Zoast's run should be adjusted to reflect that.
One could argue that it is the longest standing run and should've been used as reference, but I think the community has indirectly decided where the best split part is.
the problem in adding just any% 1P2C is now people are going to try / discover things using 2 controllers, and thus making all current categories a mess which is why I suggest to make a separate tab altogether just about 2 controllers and then there's no debate about what happens in there, like Bloodstained's leaderboards for example:
Speedrun.com can do extra tabs like difficulty and such, so having a 1 controller and 2 controller tab makes sense and then you can call them both any% on the boards and let the community as they use it call it what they want when they talk about it/use splits etc.
