Glad to hear! I'm learning from the beginner glitchless route atm, hoping to do a run this weekend!

Rule
60 FPS Requirement
Suggested Change
Remove the FPS requirement.
Reasoning
Hello! I'm going to keep it concise for clarity. There are two reasons I think this rule should be removed:
- Changing the Game's FPS Does Not Affect Gameplay (tricks, glitches, etc.)
- 60FPS is Not Accessible to All Players
ProxySaw, one of the lead developers for the project, has confirmed that the game engine always operates at 20fps maximum, which makes this requirement unnecessary for preventing lag-based strategies from arising. The FPS setting only changes how the game looks, not how it plays.
Letting more runners make submissions is also good for a speedgame's overall community health - removing the FPS requirement would minimize hardware requirements so that more people can play :)
Thanks for your consideration,
JESway
SRC submissions typically are YouTube or Twitch videos, as those links are easily found and more permanent. I'd recommend you upload your run to YouTube and then use that link instead.
You can check out the community discord in the sidebar, the #autosplitter-setup channel contains instructions on how to set it up. Good running!
Switch has really slow loads. Xbox and PS4 are fairly fast
@Cool_Gaming22 a webcam setup with audio can be sufficient console evidence. That might sound a bit facetious since no one can expect a 15 hour run to be easily saved, but once your time is lower you can use that to submit.
Runs get rejected all the time for not quite matching the rules for submission. We don't think bad at all of people who submit these runs - even experienced runners can have issues with their submissions! Good luck with your runs and have fun :)
You are correct - we added it in case some release had happened without our knowledge, but since this is not the case they've been removed.
Don't worry about it man, try to take care of it if you see it happen but it's not a big deal.
I doubt anyone will be able to tell if you're running on a pirated version on the game so it's mostly up to you being ethically ok with doing so and also being ready to accept consequences that occur if anyone finds out you do run on a pirated version. I would ping the mods if you're concerned about that to have them take a stance on it because right now it's probably allowed.
The only potential category I think that people would be interested in running besides the existing board categories would be a low% run, but it currently doesn't have enough tech to be viable at the moment. Only 22 TPs are possible without hats and hookshot right now.
