Make sure in your advanced graphics settings your environment detail setting is set to performance. This will make it so the elevator sequence is skipped on newer versions of the game.
Yeah I can add it here soon. The distinction will probably just be the update / number of levels as I think there is a version that is older and has less levels for older patches as well as whatever would be added in the future.
It is assist mode and it does exist in the PC version of the game as well. It's not directly banned for use since there's no reason for it to be, as all it actually does is give you 8 hp and regen after standing still for the base game, which is actually slow in many cases so it ends up being pretty slow to use. It is, however, indirectly banned in death wish, since it automatically enables peace and tranquility for every death wish and using peace and tranquility is banned in death wish categories.
Ok so to give an update on the file, unfortunately I don't think it's possible. I have actually been trying for a long while to get it to work and for the most part it does, but the game just loves turning off the candle even after saving no matter what I did, not even hex editing the file could make it work. So file will probably not be happening sadly, though the rules will remain the same - anything that would cause the candle to go off would invalidate the run, everything else is fine.
Yup, since the file in resources already has everything you are free to use your own file that has all hats and badges and roulette skins as long as the first dialogue when snatcher first appears on your ship for death wish isn't cleared to be more specific. If you want to use your own file you'd just have to do math to figure out the final time as Silver stated.
Hey, I'm happy to make it a category for you. As for future rules on submissions for this category, I think a file could be made that starts with the 0 jumps candle on, so it would be easy to tell if you actually jump or not since the game will outright kill you if you do. You can submit your run just fine though, I'll look into making a file that has this since I had some interest in running it myself at some point. Congratulations on your run.
