Update: I uninstalled EVERYTHING Tony Hawk related including all versions of DxWnd and D3DWindower and started from complete scratch, except this time I used D3DWindower exclusively instead of trying to mess with DxWnd and managed to get everything working properly! Thanks for the help
I've also since attempted to borrow an Xbox one controller with the same results. I've noticed though that if I don't use DXWnd, the game will launch and play successfully, however only in fullscreen, and only if I have one monitor disabled, which will make it impossible to stream or time myself(and be able to see it anyway) in those circumstances.
I have attempted to make the switch to D3DWindower rather than DXWnd in hopes of solving the problem, however, when I attempt to launch it from D3DWindower, it launches in full screen rather than a window for some reason. I've attempted to run everything as administrator as well, of course.
I did attempt to disable each display, but alas to no prevail... Looks like I'm stuck on Xpadder for everything in game at least for now, I'll try to borrow a friends ps4 controller or xbone controller one of these days and try it.
Yeah, I have 2 monitors, ones 1080p and one is 1440x900, would that make a difference?
Just tried both of those ideas, however, still crashing :S
At first, my launcher was being slow and freezing(mind I'm using an SSD, an i7-4790k, 16GB RAM, and a GTX 980), I had windows 8.1. Well, I decided to go back to Windows 7 because I have a USB with a 7 install on it lying around, and my launcher was still freezing and crashing, but I just finished updating windows(other than the evil KB3086255 or whatever it is) and finally my launcher is working like normal! Hooray! So I attempted to setup my wired Xbox 360 controller via the launcher options, but when I launch the game with the controller selected, it crashes the game upon launching. I figured that maybe it had something to do with not having all of my buttons configured because I attempted to setup both L and R triggers(forgot they were on the same axis or what not), so I attempted to set those options to L3 and R3 instead just to test it, but it still crashes... I would test it with another controller if I had one or could afford one. Anyone have any luck on fixing this or am I simply bound to XPadder for life?
