Unfortunatly if we do such a thing, I think the leaderboards will be too big and annoying to read with so much categories. But you can do that challenges ! That should not you stop you to do such things if they are not in a speedrun leaderboard !
Have you more information about this challenge ? A forum thread ? A tweet ?
When you restart a day, it's like in a normal speedrun when you restart a level because of a bad RNG. You are no more in a single segment but you change your category on multi segment. And in the leaderboard we want a single segment submission. That's part of the speedrun, trying to do the best one segment time. :p
That's completly great ! I approve this shit ! :D There is plenty of kind of objectives we can do in a such speedrun. All Vlad missions, All Transports, Only Sltealth...
The time when people reconnect is not really a problem because the timer freeze itself when someone is joining. I Think we put this rule when we asking ourself about the multi day heist which was counted with a real timer. But now, we keep the timer ingame for all the days. I'm sure it's not a problem to let people disconnect and reconnect. In my opinion, it's not really "entertaining" to see people disconnect/reconnect too much during a game that's why I would prefer to let this rule. But technically, it causes no problem to let people do it now.
For the Autospliter, indication can be visual and sonore ? Because the start of the timer is when you heard a "bip" and end when the transition with the end screen is done. So we can have the marker for the autospit. But not sure if it can work that way...
The problem is always the moment when you start the timer and when you stop it. If we want to be really accurate, the only option is to ask it to Overkill. Because when we start the timer from ourserlve and stop it, we have not the same moment to stop it due to our reaction.
That's a idea but...We can maybe ask it directly to Overkill. See if they can add a more accurate timer in the game for the speedrun community.
