Sorry for the late response dude I've been super busy lately. Technically speaking, if you were able to do this on a Valve server by filling the other 5 slots with 5 idle accounts, or having friends of yours idie...then it's not against the rules or anything. There were low mann categories not so long ago for speedrunning missions with only 2 players, but the servers needed for those have been gone for some time now. Even if the 1 player time you achieve ended up being the 150th place time for example, providing all the neccesary rules have been followed then there's no reason why I couldn't accept/verify it technically.

@FromDarkHell That post you linked wasn't to ask if people think cheesing should be allowed or not it was to ask if a seperaate category for no cheesing should be added and if people thought it'd be a good idea or not, also if they'd run that category or not.

However I do still think that seperate categories such as Scriptless and No Cheesing should and could be a thing.

I just noticed something today as well, or it's something that was mentioned in my Discord when we were debating this whole thing. Which is that auto clickers are very similar to one of those third party turbo controllers for consoles which obviously give you quite an advantage in some games, and obviously most people would consider those cheating too. I imagine the use of those is also banned for various games too.

Honestly I understand what you mean when you say you want to make the categories different from the long standing any% one however they already will be very different with the fact one can be only done with stock weapons, and the other without cheesy strategies/methods.

My view on also banning crit/uber canteens on the "stock only" category I feel is uneccesary to do so as the words "all stock" indicate that only stock weapons can be used, but I don't think any other restrictions should be added to the list such as the use of crit and uber canteens. Personally I feel that stock weapons are already a category on their own with nothing else needing to be added. If you are going to ban crit/uber canteens on all stock though, at least call it "All Stock + No Crit/Uber Canteens". But again I still stand strongly on my opinion on having "all stock" as the category, litearlly as what it states and nothing else.

Actually yeah to add onto my other comment of saying "yes to both" I agree with 01 about the sentry buster bug being added to no cheesing. Although I don't think that bug is practical since it takes up use of the sentry gun actually trying to trap a buster, I still think it's best to be added to the list anyway because when people do use it, its incredibly powerful, especially if the medic isin't allowed to spam canteens, and only able to use kritzkreig to give kritz to the team.

Yeah I think there should be a no refunds category as this would make it more challenging as well as having to put more thought into class and upgrade choices per mission. This would obviously require a pov recording such as a demo or game capture of the run per person to ensure that no refunds were used.

Another section that would be incredibly cool to consider would be a 'no cheesing' category, which basically means that no cheap strategies can be used. Such as using canteens, buying back, refunding, using the Gas Passer, using the Scottish Resistance and if there is a medic, the projectile shield.
