With now two tracks having out of bounds tricks,i've decided to split the two in the Individual Tracks section. So now they are seperate leaderboards. As much as I love OoBs,I still think that the track without it should still be played,so now they have been split. After I changed this for Venice Canals, the pre-existing runs disappeared,so I had to re-add them. This is why you might get a notification or two. Castle Von Dandy isn't done yet,but it won't take long to do so. As only two tracks have OoBs at the current time, this change will only be for Individual Tracks for the time being. For future submissions on those two tracks there will now be an extra drop-down menu for selecting if your run used the OoB or not.
The following rule changes are effective immediately.
Video evidence is now only required below a certain threshold, and In-game time is not required for RTA runs that are not below this threshold. The thresholds are the following: RTA runs: All tracks:34m RTA Circuit Mode Any%:12m RTA All Tracks(New Game):36m RTA All Easy Tracks:7m 30s RTA All Medium Tracks:7m 40s RTA All Hard Tracks:7m 40s RTA All Bonus Tracks:12m RTA ILs: Thunder Park:1m 40s Lost Island:1m 35s Arctic Circle:1m 45s Greek Isles:1m 35s The Far East:1m 40s Lake Powell:1m 50s Ship Graveyard:1m 45s Venice Canals:1m 35s N.Y.Disaster:1m 40s Nile Adventure:3m 20s Castle Von Dandy:1m 45s Catacomb:2m 5s Hydro Speedway:1m 45s
Easy/Medium/Hard/Bonus track segments from Circuit Mode runs are now allowed for their respective individual boards, provided they are timed correctly and no tracks are skipped.
I originally wasn't going to require In-game time, but I started to think about it when I noticed something about this particular version not too long ago. I was doing runs one day,and I noticed that,if you do not get a top 10 time on the in-game leaderboard, the game skips loading that screen entirely, saving about 3 seconds real-time,but it does not at all affect In-game time. This can be beneficial for real-time,but there's a problem with this. Unless all of the top 10 times are times you likely would not get in a run, this will screw with your real-time,and make a run appear better than it actually was. For this reason,In-game time is now the primary timing method, and is now required for all future runs. Don't worry about your run if you have one without In-game time,I will take care of that.
