I don't think there's necessary a default plugin, most emulators come with multiple afaik. From what I understand, that rule is more for things like not using some sort of overclock or no frame-limiter for speedruns.
Support; as a misc category. If NMS is a category then this should be.
Nobody has tested it. It would likely be faster in every respect (less lag, faster resets), although more difficult to play on. It DEFINITELY is worth looking into. I asked SVA if he could try it, but he wasn't willing to buy it.
There is a fair chance this will work on WIi U only:
It would be allowed, but you'd need someone to make an adapter. I've never heard of a PS4-Wii adapter, but you could ask the guy who runs this site if it's possible to make one http://www.raphnet-tech.com/
Somebody add this to the Resources.
Also, it would be worth it to make codes for normal GC OoT. GC is better for hovering out of bounds and duping, so it's useful for Glitched 100% and Max% child. And perhaps some people would like to run normal categories on GC.
The controls seem to be roughly the same with or without Native Control, although for comfort I'd recommend you enable it in Nintendont if you try this.
The pausing is seemingly different. There is less initial pause lag, but buffering seems roughly the same difficulty.
If you play through Nintendont normally, all of the controls are emulated. For example. Shield Dropping in melee (precise analog movement) is completely changed. I'll have to see if it affects OoT and whether the codes work with Native Control enabled (which disables the emulated controls).
Also, not sure if its because you haven't updated it, but that change log appears blank. Also, is there only 2 codes for MQ so far, or are the OoT ones built in? Does native input settings in Nintendont affect the controls for discs?
Nice work, and I'm pretty sure Spacier/Garnitrex would be more than happy to allow the Eng-JP cheat to make MQ even more accessible. I'll ask Garnitrex to make sure and I'll check them out then I'll get back to you and maybe we could add these to the resources.
