Moderator Note - Nice run! The run originally was submitted as a 1:17.972. Being no timer was present in the video, I retimed the run myself. I utilized common times of other runners of this game for when the screen begins to brighten from darkness before Mario appears with the shells and the text box (3.17 seconds on average) and adjusted my start time on the retime to match the other runs to use as an accurate start time. I then recorded the time of the frame that Mario touched the orb. With all of my findings, my most accurate final time for this run is 1:18.250. Therefore I must adjust the time back to that mark.
