why is the character so fast?

Was this speedrun done at 42x or 35x?

This speedrun was done with a 35x score multiplier, but if you exit the game and start a new one very shortly after using a boost, it will appear as if your score multiplier is 42x

(If you still don't believe me, you can try it yourself in the older versions of the game)
