Sorry for the forum spam but since i intend to speedrun this game for a long time I need to know all the details.
All the runs for 'full rucco town run ng+, full ng+' have different ways of timing the run. Some when they have loaded into the town, one when entering the first district. And none is using the way of timing the rules say? Can anyone explain since I plan on doing the run soon.
I did the first town speedrun and I started tue timer as soon as I entered the town loading zone, of course this doesn't mean that this is the one way to do it, because as you said, some started when loading the first level and not the town. I agree that the timing method should be refined, alongside the other thread about when to start timing and what should count and what not
I don't care about the runs that don't follow the rules to be taken down since I'm quite confident I can beat the wr either way. I just care about future runs following the same rules so their wont be any confusion.
Taken down? Retiming is a thing mods can do, so there's no need to take it down unless found cheated
To be honest, I barely even remember what I set for full town runs half the time, because I set those way before anyone showed signs of wanting to run them. XD So I'm down to more refine those if you two have suggestions.
Time starts when loading into town, ends when last hit is dealt, load times included as the mid-town sections and all can be used to change equip and such
I think the timer should start as you load into the first dungeon like in a all episode run. And end when you load into Rocco town after clearing the last dungeon like in a all episode run. Tbh just make the rules the same as an all episode run just the whole town instead xD
Actually, I think I like that idea better, making them consistent with All Episodes.
