New strats/DLC

Hi ! I submitted a run for SGW2 which used a lot of new strats, saving a lot of time! I was planning on making a tutorial but I never got around to it, so if you have any questions don't hesitate! First some general advice, use the pistol whenever possible, it's very OP and way faster than the rifle. You can also switch to the pistol to skip the "bolt action" animation after shooting, allowing to start sprinting immediately. Also, you can use F9 to reload the last checkpoint instead of going through the menu ! (it will refill your health but not stamina) Most of the strats are pretty obvious by just looking at the run, since it's a lot of running and avoiding fights, but some might be harder to get (especially the Oobs in 1-2 & 2-3, the "patrol skip" in 2-1 where you rush into the bush, the rush through the square with the wall jump in 3-3...). If you're trying to replicate some stuff but having a hard time, pay attention to the details of the movement, where I crouch, sprint, what angle I use, what lines I take etc... It can be a bit precise sometimes, but once you have a setup it's easy. Again, don't hesitate to ask if you need more info :)

I also did a run of the DLC, Siberian Strike: It would be nice to add it as a category :)

Hello Everyone !

Wanted to add some FEW advices for this game ! Even if MisterMunkki said everyting !

-For glitches, you can train on each level individually, and for me the main fact , just need to take some "Marks" on screen, radar, skin like you want and follow a way !

-Manage your stamina , we can't do nothing but just knowing when you can jump or when you can run ! can save time !

-Don't forget to reload your weapons ( pistol in general ) when you are exhausted because of the animation ! )

-Just some trajectories on map can save you and save time, i mean, you need to know when your aera is unlocked and when not for exemple, when an ennemy can kill you or not !

For quickloads just to say the first quick load on 2-2 is for optimize a RNG , because if we go directly after killing all ennemies our mate get stuck and not moving , by doing this QUickload do'nt ask why but everything is fine ! And the quickload on 3-1 is just to refresh or HUD because is not here when the level start ( dunno why too ) !

Toggling your games FPS cap from low FPS to high gives you a small speed boost. I tried it from 60 FPS to 250 and it would save around 4-5 seconds for every minute of sprinting. I didn't do too much testing but I believe the higher FPS you can get the bigger the speed boost is. It works with walking as well but I didn't test how big of a time save that is.

I don't know if this should be allowed in runs since it is very likely pay to win and makes the game look stuttery due to the speed boosts. Console runs could also not do this which seems unfair, although there aren't any console runs on the boards yet.

Video example test has normal sprint at 15.7 seconds and FPS abuse at 14.5 seconds.

Nice find @Whose. This game is not popular for runs so I don't think it makes sense to change the rules. If you can save time by using new glitch, go for it. We can always add a glitchless category if it will be requested by runners. And about consoles, they have their own separate category from PC, so they will not be affected by new glitch.
