I found a way to get on top of the pipe in the hub world and also how to get an upwarp, I haven't been able to get anything with it, but it could be potentially useful:

That is good to know, however I do not expect it to be useful unfortunately. I will look into it tonight though, just in case.

I toyed around with it a bit more and i was able to jump on top of the large pipe but a giant invisible wall kept me from going anywhere

Back when I played this game, I found a whole bunch of weird clips and warps in the hub world but nothing seemed useful.
