Timing For Loading Removal

Hello,

As you all can see timing for loading removal is now becoming more specific with the addition of freestlying. The other loading time removed is the time between the games during the actual loading screen as this is variable between systems. This begins right as you select "play next match" and ends the moment you see game screen.

Here are tips for accurate time removal: Freestyling = 9 seconds times # of Games Loading = X # of Seconds from "PLAY NEXT MATCH" to "GAME SCREEN" added up collectively.

This loading time is consistently 2-7 seconds for PC players and 7-10 seconds for PS4 players, currently unknown for Xbox users.

For example, my loading times are consistently 3-4 seconds and I write down each one and add them up later.

I hope this clears things up!

Happy Running,

My run was also needing to be updated, which has been down now. :)

Hey

My (current) time removal is 62.4 seconds.

For "Freestyling" - I've removed 4 seconds from each game - this is timed from the moment each game ends through to the first "Press any button to continue" message. This should mirror the timing used for the 9 second removal on current versions, where the extended freestyling period is 5 seconds. This multiplied by 11 games is 44 seconds. One error I've made is that this shouldn't apply for the final game as the run itself should end immediately after the final game concludes - I'll edit my time to add this back in (i.e. +4 seconds).

For Loading - mine is 18.4 seconds total. Longest load was 2 seconds, quickest was 1.2.

Cheers

The only times you are able to remove are times from next match through the actual loading screen as anything else is not accepted.

So as you mentioned above. 18.4 seconds can be removed and that's it.

If I were to remove, let's call it post-game time, from my run, I would then argue that the time removal for freestyling from current version runs should only be 5 seconds per game.

Based on the first game from your run, I am timing this between 5:22.58 - 5:27.58 (give or take a few milliseconds as I'm doing this from the Twitch vod.)

Otherwise, as far as I see it, removing 9 seconds per game also cuts out elements that are common across all versions, namely the appearance of the Winner screen and the scoreboard right up to the first required input. From your run, I am timing this between 5:19.80 - 5:28.6.

And for comparison from my run - for the first game I timed this from 5:12.47 - 5:16.50 = 4 seconds.

Perhaps that's how it added up all along. I see what you are saying now. That makes sense. My apologies.

This should help :) - the post game celebration length got shortened in the v1.31 update on Mar 22 2017. It's not listed in the patch notes, but you can line in up with posts on Reddit, e.g. https://www.reddit.com/r/RocketLeague/comments/613mik/is_it_just_me_or_are_the_winning_screens_shorter/

So in regards to the period where freestyling occurs, it probably was genuinely 9 seconds long in previous versions.
