So I installed qos by transferring all of the install files to a folder and then taking the CD out, and running the game installation, (For other games like Nancy Drew and stuff this would let you play the game without having to put the CD in every time) and I was wondering if there is a way I can do that here with qos.
So you've installed the game to your computer but you're trying to find a way around having the disc in to play it?
If it doesn't work like Nancy Drew then I'm not sure there is, unfortunately. I'm not familiar with Nancy Drew but I'm assuming it's not a GFWL game, in which case it may be a GFWL issue. Xbox 360 game installs similarly allow you to install the game from disc but require the game disc inserted to verify the purchase.
Needless to say, Games For Windows Live did not last too long.
As of today, Quantum of Solace PC speedruns will now be timed without loads. To automatically time your run without loads, just download Livesplit, then in your splits settings, select this game and enable the autosplitter. After that, your timer will automatically pause during the loading screens.
