No rules are defined for either category. The videos that are available for Hero Side seem to go by in game time. I assume this starts when choosing Hero/Dark Side after character creation, and ends after opening the last card pack before the credits. Would this be a safe assumption?

Also while I will be starting from a fresh save, I plan on using the Beat bonus card obtained from having a Sonic Heroes save present on the memory card. This shouldn't be a problem correct?

hello. When i played, the only run existing was the SDA run, timed by ingame time, which is pretty accurate to rta. So i used that too. iirc ingame timer starts with character creation, even before choosing dark side so be careful. About the bonus card, i don't see a problem with that. gl

Hey there, If you'd like I can add the rules into the LBs. Do you have a concise description of everything involved? What you mention sounds reasonable, in any case. How big of a deal is the Sonic Heroes save file? I'm not an active runner, so it's not really my call, but it seems kinda awkward to use other game saves instead of keeping it contained to just PSO E3.

Thanks for the replies guys! I confirmed that the timer starts by opening character creation, so thanks for that greenounet.

The Sonic Heroes file isn't a big deal for accessibility. Having any save present from Heroes on the memory card gives access to Beat from the start of PSO Ep3, no progress has to be made in either game to obtain it. I feel that it does, however, drastically increase the viability of running Dark Side. Dark will be inherently slower than Hero, and two Story Characters you receive have great synergy with Beat.

I can write up a concise ruleset for you today. I'm eager to try and finish one run at least, so I'm jumping in!
