As such a list does not yet exist on the internet---at least not as far as I am aware---I decided to waste invest my time and map out this game's potions, runes, and weapons. The following list does not contain arrows (neither normal, nor artificed ones) although this could be adjusted in a future update called "All Collectibles" as necessity arises.
While I was very thorough and did check all the guides and playthroughs I could find, there is no final guarantee for its completeness. After all there could be some secret so well hidden within this game that nobody on the internet yet knows about it. This holds in particular for the health potions and the life upgrades as only the magical weapons are fully listed in the manual. If you manage to find something not listed below please tell me; either in the Prince of Persia speedrun discord (linked in this game's navigation bar on the left) or message me directly (my discord name is just "toca").
Last but not least, if the description of where to find a certain thing is not sufficient you may left-click on its name to see an image of it. This will hopefully clear up all potential misunderstandings. Note that the terms for the runes are the ones from the official manual. For the save points (as well as level start and end points) I created a spreadsheet containing all coordinates. The coordinates can be viewed using the cheat table from the resources tab.
Prison
- Rune of Memory - In the small corridor after the shower room
- Rune of Shadows - Platforms above the patrolling guard, to the right
- Rune of Memory - In the room with three exits
- Red potion - Exit to your right, corridor after sleeping guard. The room to the left has a box in it which, after being pushed back, reveals the potion
- Red potion - End of said corridor, operate the crane with your left trigger. Cutscene reveals the potion
- Sword (Scimitar) - First sword, obtained by pushing down the box onto the guard
- Red potion - In the room before the stone face, to the left there is a red potion on the ground
- Rune of Memory - Before the final room
Ivory Tower
- Bow - Appears after the cutscene where the archer falls down, lands next to the pool, and dies
- Red potion - Right after acquiring the bow jump into the pool and dive down. You'll find an opening in the wall leading to a secret room with a red potion in it
- Rune of Memory - Right after lowering the bridge and going through the blade traps. Cannot be missed
- Red potion - After the save, fall down between the two wooden pillars to your right. You already saw this potion from the secret room beneath the pool
- Red potion - End of the corridor after the guard which activates a plate to make the floor crumble away. While the regular path is to the right (pulling the desk), the potion is in the back left room
- Red potion - In the room with the first archer up top, in a small niche to the left
Cistern
- Rune of Life - Climb down the rope into the well. At the back end of the corridor you will find the life upgrade. (Reminder to climb up the small ledge right before the upgrade by holding the left trigger & forward)
- Blue potion - Past the assassin up top, right before the elevator
- Rune of Memory - At the end of the boat ride. Picked up automatically
- Shield Sword (Hand of Malak) - Next to the enemy at the end of the level
Palace 1
- Red potion - Enemy after getting up the first wooden ramp. You have to lure him out, else you cannot pick up the potion
- Rune of Memory - After pushing the box and riding up the elevator
- Red potion - Straight ahead after the save
- Red potion - After the bridge you slide down, in the small room to the right of the enemy
- Rune of Memory - After said enemy. Cannot be missed
- Red potion - After the platform which carries you to the other side, behind the box up top
- Rune of Memory - On the platform after the rope swing. Cannot be missed
- Rune of the Gazelle - After climbing the chain and jumping to the platform above. Necessary to continue
Palace 2
- Rune of Memory - After the two gates and the rope climb
- Red potion - After the first enemy and the rope swing up top, to the right
Palace 3
- Red potion - In your way, past the two arrow traps in the wall
- Flame Sword (Blade of Caracas) - In the room before returning to the monk, right in front of the lever which deactivates the underwater sawblades
- Blue potion - Right next to the flame sword
- Rune of Memory - Room with the three symbols on the ground after diving through the pool
- Rune of Memory - On the 'circle' path, up top after crossing the bridge
- Red potion - Up the round elevator, follow the path, after the rope
- Rune of Memory - Square path, accessible after pushing the cauldron onto the triangle button
Rooftops
- Rune of Memory - After the assassin (who closed the gate) and the collapsing floor
- Rune of Life - This rune can be seen from the start of the level. To get to it go into the small room to the right of the first save, step on the floor plate to the right (to open the windows), and follow the path which eventually leads to this rune
- Red potion - Straight ahead from the save, to the left
- Rune of Memory - After climbing down the chain holding the lamp
- Red potion - To the left of the double gate you have to open
- Rune of Memory - Shortly after passing the double gate
- Rune of Memory - Before the stairs which open up
- Red potion - Behind the final enemy of the level
City and Docks
- Rune of Shadows - Opposite of the fountain, hidden inside a box which you have to move in order to collect this rune
- Red potion - In the room with the key which opens the gate at the fountain
- Rune of Memory - After opening the grate and falling down
- Rune of Memory - After getting out of the sewers, around the corner
- Red potion - After passing by the muck creature, following the corridor there is a potion in a small side passage to the right
- Rune of Memory - Shortly after leaving the underground area
- Death Sword (Reaper's Sickle) - From the save, this sword is in the hut on the left
Dirigible 1
- Runes of Memory - Accessible once you step on the pressure plate behind the guard which opens a door
- Red potion - In the small alcove to the right of the save
- Red potion - After getting up the ramp with a moving platform in sight, notice an unfinished part of the dirigible to the right. On there you will find the potion
Dirigible 2
- Rune of Memory - At the start of the level, on the first bridge
- Rune of Memory - In the small room after the retracting bridge
- Rune of the Gazelle - Climb up twice in the middle of the garden area and spot the rune in front of you
- Rune of Life - After returning to the middle part and jumping up for the first time this rune is already visible. Actually it is even obtainable from there and the jump is rather easy to perform
- Rune of Memory - After leaving the garden area and climbing up the rope
- Rune of Memory - Start of the bridge after getting outside again
Dirigible Finale
- Red potion - Once you climbed up there is an enemy to the right. The potion is in the small chamber behind him
Cliffs
- Axe (Glacier's Axe) - In the room with the exploding arrows which are necessary in order to melt the frozen monk
- Rune of Memory - After un-freezing the monk and falling through the snow patch
- Blue potion - From the save, walk forward and look down. The potion is in the small cave down below
- Rune of Memory - Revealed once the gate to the small building is opened
- Rune of Life - From the save go left, enter the building, and fall down. The rune is in the corner of the room
- Rune of Shadows - After climbing up the rope in the room with the rune of life
- Red potion - Run across the glacier, the potion is out in the open to the left
- Rune of the Winds - Revealed by pushing the button in the cave once the big skull opens
- Rune of Memory - After jumping out of the water and surviving due to the rune of the winds
- Rune of Memory - Down the small waterfall, to the left
- Red potion - In the room with the second-to-last enemy of the level
Solar Temple
Nothing to be found here!
Moon Temple
- Red potion - On your way. After leaving the room with the first enemy and jumping down
- Red potion - Archway before the first save
- Rune of Memory - Early into entering the actual palace
- Red potion - After the first long ropeclimb. If the enemy is ahead of you then the correct path is to the right and the potion is to the left
- Blue potion - Next to the room with the box and the two platforms. Placed rather obviously
- Rune of Memory - After opening the left corridor in the first hub
- Red potion - In the large hall where you flip the switch which makes the two platforms move. If the path (and the ninja lady) are to the left then the potion is to the right
- Red potion - After the second long rope climb, past the second enemy
- Rune of Memory - Final save, before the plate puzzle
Finale
Unsurprisingly, nothing here either!
