Hi PlateUp! Speedrunners,
We just want to remind you that Twitch will be deleting any Highlights and Uploads that exceed the new 100-Hour storage limit on April 19th.
After reading through posts by Speedrun.com staff about how to handle this change, we asked folks to upload the videos to YouTube and send in update link forms by April 5th so we had time to get them updated before the deadline, and we do have some spreadsheets submitted that we’re finishing up.
After April 18th we will no longer be accepting link update sheets via the form, and if someone wants to update a video link without the old Twitch video available, it will need to be updated by the user and resubmitted for verification. If the old Twitch video is still available, please do not update the link yourself – we ask that you reach out to a PlateUp! Speedrun Moderator to update it for you so they can automatically re-verify the submission.
Any runs without updated links will be marked as “Verified” but “Abandoned” on April 19th. This is a new status added by Speedrun.com staff which allows videos to remain on the board without video evidence if the video is deleted by Twitch, either now or in the future when you run out of space for the video in your Twitch Highlights.
The following users have runs which will be marked as “Verified” but “Abandoned” if you do not submit a Link Update Form before April 18th:

Twitch has officially extended the Highlight and Upload Storage Deadline to May 19th. This will allow moderators to accept until May 18th.
