[MediSplit](https://github.com/SiR-DanieL/MediEvil/tree/main/Auto-Splitters) is a full rewrite of the original autosplitter created by Xeelze. It aims to be the main autosplitter for the original MediEvil.

MediSplit was tested and confirmed working with ePSXe 2.0.0. Although it likely supports other versions of ePSXe and also other emulators, it was not tested with them.

## Supported Categories

- Any%
- Any% (No DGS)
- Any% Glitchless (WIP, Hall of Heroes not supported yet)
- Arm%
- All Chalice (100%)
- Max%

## Supported Features

- Autostart on "New Game" pressed
- Autoend on killing Zarok
- Autoend on death or restart
- Auto split every level
- Subsplits for Soldiers fight and Kardok in Zarok's Lair
- Subsplits for level bosses
- Rune smuggling subsplit
- Custom split names (non-dependant on split names)
- Support for all regions (NTSC, PAL, J-NTSC)
- For Max% and All Chalice, choice to split before or after Hall of Heroes

## Splits Templates

At this time, splits templates are not available, but they will be added here once they are.

## Installation & Configuration

1. Download and install [LiveSplit](https://livesplit.org/).
2. Download the MediSplit zip file from this page. Use MediSplit_100%.asl for the Max% and All Chalice, and MediSplit_Any%.asl for all the others.
3. Move the emu-help-v3 library (included in the zip) to LiveSplit/Components/ folder in your system.
4. Start LiveSplit and right-click on it to choose "Edit Layout..." to open the Layout Editor.
5. Click on the Plus-sign and choose "Scriptable Auto Splitter" from the section "Control".
6. Select the .asl file that you want to use.
7. Select the feature you want to use, by default Split, Start, and End will be selected. It is recommended to leave it as is.
8. Select the levels you will play, and subsplits that you want to use.
9. Configure your LiveSplit splits accordingly to the levels and subsplits you selected earlier.

Autosplitter for All Categories, With Autostart and Autoend - MediSplit

This is the autosplitter created by [@Xeelze](https://www.speedrun.com/users/Xeelze), with some modifications to make it fully automatic.

The original file (.asl) had some issues matching with the split names in the .lss file.

I made the following changes:

"Pools of The Ancient Dead" -> "Pools of the Ancient Dead"

"Gallows Gauntlet" -> "The Gallows Gauntlet"

"Dan's Crypt Rune Smuggle" was removed (from .asl and .lss).

Installation:

Extract the files -> open "**MediEvil - Any%.lss**" ->  Right Click in splits -> **Edit Layout** -> **Control** -> **Scriptable Auto Splitter** -> Double-Click it -> **Browse** -> Find "**MediEvil Autosplitter Any%.asl**" file

MEDIEVIL 1 - AUTOFIRE FOR SPEEDGLITCH FOR PS4

File contains 2 cheat files for Duckstation and EpsxE that make Medievil really hard :)

If you play on Duckstation be sure to disable the Hardcore mode because it blocks cheats

Follow the instruction inside the zip file If you don't know how to use them

You can also find a Patch Notes.txt file that explains the changes applied to the game

Added some bonus cheats for fun

I'm probably going to create setups for Duckstation only in the future, but inside you can find the "General Info" file that can help you finding a solution
