In any% you have the ability to skip through most cutscenes and speed up the character demos while unlocking gum and tab using one simple trick

Step 1) Play through the tutorial normally until you have reached the 2nd Tab tutorial

Step 2) Instead of spraying the graffiti, fall off the platform and return to the title screen

Step 3) Start a new game

If you are playing on Emulator you can create a save state prior to starting your run to be able to skip the cutscenes on future runs, if you're playing on console, hope the run goes well (You need to do this before every run)

This works because the game has a flag to allow you to skip cutscenes/dialogue that you've already seen, however all these flags get cleared when you load a game. New game doesn't clear the flag so you are able to skip the initial cutscenes. However this is the only point in the game that I'm aware of that lets you return to the title.
