Trainin’ - It’s possible to drop to the previous section from the flapping tutorial from the lower floor. Three flaps, then drop. You can also turn around immediately out of the roll section to avoid the teleporter. Skipping chance teleporter by swing jumping just makes it continue as normal as if you had taken it. You can skip the jump+grapple diagonally part by falling into the acid and bouncing up, but it continues as normal as well. CHANCE: Down goes to the platform right below you. New strat here, you can hit R to skip any section. This isn’t always faster, need to look into which sections are faster when skipped.
EASY STREET
0-1 GRAPPLE UP - BURST immediately, jump the gap, grapple up into the left side of the plunger. NOTE: You can get to the area to the left of the start with player 2 (maybe player 3 as well), but it’s extremely difficult. It took Lizzy, drop, double flap, burst, then another burst as soon as possible after hitting the acid. Even then it took many tries. There’s nothing there, however, and you have no way of getting back. You end up soft locking unless you have 4 players so the last player gets 0 points.
0-2 MIND THE GAP! - BURST immediately, jump the gaps without losing speed, hit plunger. Jump BURST grapple the finish. NOTE: You can get to the area to the left with player 2 (and probably player 3). It’s still tough, but much easier than in 0-1. It’s just as useless though. In fact, it has the exact same layout. Also, the two plungers on the lone short platform with the odd down-curved ends can’t be reached. I can’t think of a way that would let me change my angle to even try to get there. I’m sure curious about where they launch you to though. RACE: Don’t jump burst grapple finish on first lap, go around instead without burst.
0-3 LOOP DA LOOP - BURST, hop to warp. BURST into roll section, recharge to full. BURST and jump to plunger. Jump BURST grapple up to the finish. TAS: Ultra swing before the warp to bypass it and reach the roll section about 1 second faster.
0-4 JUMP@END.COM - BURST right, drop down into acid, grapple diagonally right, BURST grapple up to the finish. NOTE: You can reach the useless sections behind each player from the bottom central ring. Drop right and burst flap immediately and you should make it. You can also use your burst after hitting the acid to place your checkpoint on that platform before Evan whisks you away.
0-5 JUMP UP, UP, UP… - BURST right, jump immediately to avoid the gap, drop into acid asap, grapple right without landing, up, go left, flap grapple straight up, BURST finish. RACE: Don’t burst finish on first lap. NOTE: Start kinda close to acid, may be possible to lap skip
0-6 FOLLOW THE PATH - Move slightly right, drop to acid, slalom up, BURST left, grapple the cycle platform, jump BURST grapple finish. RACE: The cycle at the end can be skipped with a jump burst grapple regardless of where it is.
0-7 MOVIN’ ON UP - Acid drop, grapple, jump BURST grapple, up, grab cycle, jump BURST grapple up, climb to top and BURST finish. TAS: Instead of climbing the cycle, climb swing from it, grab the platform, burst up to finish. Would likely save like half a second, not worth it for RTA.
0-8 RIDE THE ROLLER - BURST left, acid drop asap, grapple up, land, jump BURST into warp [should hit the warp at around 2.5 seconds]. Move left to the roll section gate, but instead of entering it, mini drop swing left and immediately BURST to reach the end of the roll section. BURST immediately out of the roll section and grapple up to the left plunger holding up left to climb quickly. Jump BURST up, then grapple up the final slalom into the plunger.
0-9 TRICKY GRAPPLIN’ - BURST left, acid drop asap, BURST left and grapple up left into the plunger opposite your starting position. Grapple up, jump flap right, climb to top. Jump right and while over the roll section BURST flap, then BURST again to land on the finish ring directly.
0-10 BABY ENCHILADA - Acid drop, move left in the air for about a second to shake off Evan, BURST left and grapple up to the plunger, ideally making it to the plunger at around 4 seconds. Grapple up and a bit right to armor, climb and jump BURST through armor, grab cycle and up to chance warp [14]. Drop left, BURST, flap right before you intersect with the roll section, flap, BURST again and grapple up left to the finish line. [I think a time around 18 seconds is doable] CHANCE: Goes to the top of the armor section right next to the cycle.
DOWNTOWN
1-1 I’M SAYING “ELEVEN!” - Grapple up 8, go left on conveyor and drop left on platform near end of conveyor, float to platform and BURST right to plunger. Grapple up and left three times and jump BURST left through armor and grab finish. RACE: May need to burst to go against the cycle before the plunger shortcut.
1-2 TUBE RIDE - BURST right, hop over slime, go right, jump and flap to conveyor, then plunger. Jump BURST right and land on the armor, up once, climb swing through next armor, grapple to top moving right and BURST right to device. BURST left to the plunger. Walk right to the fan, go up past the first two platforms and float clip the third platform so you can use the zipper, then walk right into the plunger immediately. Go left and grapple up cycle to finish. RACE: Really start to see the effects of lag here and enemies can really get in your way. NOTE: At the beginning you can drop off the slime to land on the angled metal rings. Standing on the bottom moves the camera below the acid, I think this is the only place that can make that happen.
1-3 NICE ACTION! - Go up fan and grapple up to warp, skipping the plungers. BURST right to fan, go up it and move left to the tower. Climb tower (though I’m not sure what the cycle will be like), BURST left at top, get to the tower, jump BURST through the armor twice on the way up the tower, move to zipper and at the end climb to finish.
1-4 COOKY JAR - BURST left, jump flap over warp to plunger 1. Grapple up left to plunger 2, then grapple up right to plunger 3. Drop swing through armor, then jump BURST to plunger 4. Grapple up and left to plunger 5. Grapple up and right to plunger 6. Grapple straight up, ignoring the cycles, to plunger 7. Go right, left, BURST through armor, up to plunger 8 and finish.
1-5 WOBBLER - Acid drop, grapple nearly straight up and make the earliest cycle. While on cycle, move a little left, then grapple straight up. At the top, BURST right to the warp, skipping the first warp on the rotating ring [7.5]. BURST left to warp. Jump BURST right, climb up, jump BURST to finish.
1-6 SUPER HAPPY FUN - Acid drop, grapple to conveyor, grapple up and a bit right, BURST right to plunger. Walk around and grapple up twice, jump BURST left and up to top, burst keep and grapple up and slightly right to top, then BURST left and be ready to grab ice ring at high speed, land and burst keep, go around and grab final ring, BURST to plunger to finish.
1-7 THE RING’S THE THING - Grapple up and a bit right into plunger. Slalom up to the plunger that’ll be on the left. Move right and drop right into plunger. Jump BURST up, burst keep right and up, jump BURST through armor and straight up to cycle. Grapple up three platforms, then BURST right and up to the top. Once there, jump BURST through armor to finish. RACE: Don’t go super fast up to the plunger or they will bounce off of you. Wait a bit.
1-8 CLANG CLANG! - Walk left into plunger. BURST left, grapple, residual left, grapple, grapple straight up twice, while in air BURST left and up into plunger [6.5]. Move left and up, while in air BURST right onto armor, up and slalom, in the air BURST left onto armor and into plunger [<12.0]. If done extremely quickly you can make the right cycle, then climb up and slightly left then go to plunger. Walk right and grapple up 3 times, climb swing and move to plunger to finish.
1-9 MAZE OF TORMENT - BURST left, grapple up, BURST left and grapple up into ice plunger. Climb swing left, grapple up, jump BURST through armor, keep burst left and continue up spiral, using another BURST on the way up. Grapple straight up at the end and skip the final small spiral, walk left and do a swing jump before the start of the curve. Grapple straight up through cycles into burst grab finish (maybe need to use a burst here instead of on the spiral, it depends on the cycle).
*1-10 ORBITAL - Move left, hop over warp, on first angle past warp drop and BURST left to hit other warp [3.5 seconds]. Move right to roll section, recharge to full, then mash drop to drop immediately out of roll section, then grab the platform above before Evan gets to you. Climb right, left, and move right to device [around 15-16 seconds]. Drop right and BURST to the ice section, changing direction to left when you make it, then climb the ice to the plunger. Jump BURST to plunger. BURST over and climb to cycle and up to the top. BURST and jump over the conveyor and fan, climb to cycle, grapple to plunger and finish. RACE: Getting the skip over to the ice section is finicky and maybe I wouldn’t do it in runs until I get them a bit more optimized. It’s at the very end after all.
CANDYLANE
2-1 CRITICAL JUNCTURE - Go right, acid drop, climb left to top. Jump BURST grapple the platform above, then go up the switchbacks from a little to the right of the middle to grapple straight up without stopping. At top, jump BURST grapple right, then climb up and burst keep left to device. Go right, grapple up, left, left, stop going up and instead BURST left to grapple up and flap into warp. BURST left, grapple up, continue to finish.
2-2 LEBANESE - Grapple straight up to plunger. Grapple left, then up and up until the platforms on the far left disappear. Here, grapple up twice more, then grapple up left and BURST left into plunger. Grapple up left, then BURST left and grapple up, land and keep burst left to plunger. Grapple up and BURST finish. RACE: First lap, don’t immediately ascend. Instead wait 0.5-1 second, then climb to plunger. Otherwise you end up getting bounced on. Be wary of this on third lap as well, a computer may be finishing their first lap around the same time.
2-3 ROLL EM’ BABY - BURST left, grapple up left into armored section, climb the fairly obvious path to the top, BURST right into plunger. Go right, but not into roll section. Instead, grab the quickly moving platform above the roll section, using a BURST if necessary to reach the cycle. Move right slightly, then jump BURST flap right and keep burst right into plunger to finish. RACE: Before getting on the path to the first plunger, take the upper left path and use a different plunger, otherwise the computer will be on the same track and mess you up from getting the shortcut. This is only true for the first lap and when computer is near you. Also, hop over the item star before the shortcut, it’s never worth it.
2-4 STEADY EDDIE - BURST left, drop down left, go left into plunger. Jump BURST right, left, slalom twice, grapple right, jump BURST through armor to plunger. Grapple up up up, jump BURST to finish. RACE: Catching the plunger at the start on laps 2 and 3 requires more paying attention.
2-5 THE NEST - BURST right, drop, keep burst left to warp. BURST left into plunger. Go left, grapple up, go right and drop down onto spring. Jump grapple left and move to two angles before the plunger. Mini drop swing right, BURST and grapple the finish ring. [Should finish in under 15 seconds]
2-6 CURLY TWIRLY - Drop right, BURST, hop and you’ll land on the plunger [this strat doesn’t work if shrunk, Evan picks you up]. Go right and up, go left to make cycle [around 8 seconds], go around to make another cycle, jump BURST right and continue going right all the way to the top. Float up bubbles to float clip to the left and continue up to top, jump BURST right, climb armor up to top going left. Before the final armor ring, jump BURST right to plunger and to finish. RACE: On armored tower climb, grapple past the spikie to not run into it. TAS: The cycle at around 3.5 seconds at the beginning is probably possible for TAS, but I don’t see it being RTA viable anytime soon.
2-7 TRICKY CLIMBING WALL - Go left, then BURST left and eventually grapple up and BURST again. Continue up to spiral section. Jump right and grapple up to skip a spiral, then do it again, then continue up. Jump left, then BURST up tight spiral. Jump just before it goes down and continue left, grappling diagonally up+left. On the left, go into the chance warp. BURST to fan and float clip to finish line. CHANCE: Sends you to bottom of the many tiny platforms section. RACE: During first burst you run into an item star, if bombs just dump, if blues use them right before the grapple transition and into the acid.
2-8 HIGH ROLLER - Go right to under platform, acid drop, grapple up and BURST left to plunger. Grapple right, jump BURST grapple left, continue to top and up to the roll section. At roll section, BURST right and jump flap over roll section and continue right. Drop just before the tiny flat platform to land on the spring to go through roll section, recharge 1 rollburst, then go up and BURST to plunger to finish. RACE: After the final roll section, stop so you don’t run into the item star.
2-9 DOUGHNUT SHORTCUT - Grapple up 4 times, BURST left, climb rings to the right, grab cycle and BURST in the air, continue up, BURST in the air to reach the small ring cycle [~10.0] and to plunger. Grapple up and a little left, then slalom twice and BURST in the air to skip the fan, then continue up to finish.
2-10 SPIRAL INSANA - Move slightly left, the grapple straight up 3 times, then BURST left and leap and flap when it downturns. Grapple up and turn around, then continue up. Ignore fan and continue around spiral. When the plunger platform is in sight, either jump for it and grapple OR drop from the platform above (depends on cycles), then go into plunger. Grapple up, drop onto platform and BURST right into warp. Grapple left, right, then BURST left, keep going around, then go right into plunger. Move left to the angle before the roll section, drop BURST flap left, BURST again in the air between the roll section segments below and you will end up near the warp (this trick loses about 1 second if it fails and saves about 5 seconds if it succeeds). BURST left, ignoring the spring, into the roll section and recharge 1 rollburst. Immediately jump BURST finish without grappling.
THE DEEP
3-1 COLOR WOLF INC. - BURST left, grapple up and move to the right side and through the cycle without having to wait for cycle (need to grab cycle just as it’s moving down)(could also use a BURST for this). Climb up up up, BURST right through armor, continue right and up, jump BURST through armor and climb to top, drop to plunger. BURST to finish.

3-2 DAVY JONES’ LOCKER - BURST left, acid drop a little before the sand, grapple right then left without landing (it’s a bit tough) and into plunger. Grapple up and 90° left to plunger. Drop left BURST onto secret warp island and into warp. BURST right onto bubbles, float clip, then jump BURST finish. TIME TRIALS: After the first plunger, drop swing burst right to reach the secret warp ring sooner.

3-3 SKI JUMP - Slalom twice, move to immediately before the roll section, mini drop swing left BURST flap to skip roll section. Continue to top, ignoring the spring, then move to the left edge of the platform with the decoration on it. Drop swing cancel BURST jump flap to grapple to stage’s inner ring (this saves around 14 seconds). Grapple up to the rotating straight platforms with flowers in the middle. Climb up near the center if the flowers are present, otherwise climb from the center. Jump BURST right, then left, jump BURST straight up, the circle around and up to the finish circle.
3-4 SLIP SLIDIN’ AWAY - BURST left, slalom up into plunger. BURST left, jump and float over roll section and land on chance warp without waiting. Jump BURST right through armor, up, jump BURST through armor, slalom up cycles, grab finish. CHANCE: The end of the small roll section.
3-5 FANATOS - Grapple up and left into the spring, through roll section, then BURST left into plunger. Go left and grapple up to the spring, then jump at hill and land on warp. Jump BURST right through armor and go to top. Jump BURST grapple right to the platform above, climb, keep burst and climb to the top to the right (the right is slightly faster). BURST left and climb and get to the cycle, then finish. NOTE: There is a random plunger sitting in midair by itself near the end of the level. Following the path, instead of getting to the top of the larger sections, move right about 90° and drop onto it. However, even after landing right on it, it does nothing and Evan will pick you up.
3-6 TAXIDERMY - Grapple up and move right into plunger. BURST right (or left, depending on first or second plunger) and hold right without jumping or bursting again. At gap, go up up left into warp. BURST left and near the top hop to not lose too much speed to the steepness of the slope and go into plunger. Jump BURST flap right to land on armor, then move left and catch the cycle. Continue climbing, then on armored go right, then BURST left all the way up to the finish line.
3-7 HOPADELIC - Grapple up, go left and slalom, jump BURST left through armor and up, keep burst left on the top and make the cycle, climb armor, jump BURST right then left, take the far path up and to the chance warp. Grapple up and BURST left to plunger. BURST left, fall once and then float to ring, hop over flower into chance warp, which warps to finish. CHANCE: Both of the first chance warps bring you to the far side of the top of the armored section. The final chance warp brings you to the other side of the same circle.
3-8 FAN-TASTICK! - Grapple up left to fan, grapple left, then BURST right and climb to top to plunger. Hit spring and recharge in the long roll section. At the end, jump left and go above far right fan, then continue up on the right side to the top. Move right, grapple up and take the second fan, not the first. Grapple up, go to left fan, up up up, left left left, float up the right fan, BURST grapple to cycle and/or finish.
3-9 JIMBABWE - BURST left into plunger. Go right, float clip into conveyor, grapple right, left, right, right, left, left, right into device. If done fast enough, it should be ending its rotation, so climb up through cycles and jump BURST to skip the last cycle. Climb to top, BURST right just past the slime, hop and drop down to the warp. Climb straight up and BURST finish.
3-10 BAR MALDOROR - BURST right into plunger. Jump BURST grapple through platform, then go left into roll section and recharge 2 rollburst. Jump BURST through armor [cycle at around 13 is reachable]. Climb through armor, one armor section gets low enough you can hop through it without a burst, BURST left and hop into warp. BURST right into roll section, recharge 2 rollbursts. When you hit the conveyor, BURST, then back into roll section, then hop immediately out of it over the slime and onto the device. (Optionally, burst flap over large parts of the roll sections, can save a couple of seconds). BURST left, jump over to zipper, jump again onto higher part of next section. BURST left and grab cycle, can jump BURST grapple finish from bottom cycle.
SOFT SUN BAY
4-1 RIB TICKLER - Grapple up and right into warp. BURST left and at the end grab the cycle, then go up and BURST left to quickly grab that cycle, then grapple up to spring, which pushes you to a plunger. BURST left, grapple up to ice, jump burst grapple right and up, at full speed shouldn’t need to hop over slime. Grapple straight up to finish line.
4-2 MUY PELIGROSO! - Grapple straight up, BURST right, slalom up and you can make it to the top without having to wait on a cycle. BURST left and when it runs out BURST again. At the top near the start of the final long platform, drop left and BURST, then after dropping for a bit, flap and you should end up in the second loop-de-loop, then recharge 1 rollburst. Jump left and up and grapple up left immediately and keep going until out of the section. Jump BURST through armor and up to fan, then float clip the finish.
- 4-3 RIP RIDE - Move left through conveyor, grapple upward to top and get on cycle (leaves at 10). Then, move right, grapple up and slalom to top spin cycle, grapple up to plunger. Move left of the left arrow, at the end of the platform to the left of the arrow drop and BURST as early as possible then flap as early as possible to land on top of the end of the roll section, then go right into warp. BURST into roll section, then on the first angle drop left and BURST to land on the far platform, which will INEXPLICABLY place you on the section right after the plunger. Here, continue to the far fan, go up and grapple up to top and BURST into plunger, which is finish line. Notes - A couple of alternate paths that may lose time but are more consistent.
4-4 GIRAFFE PIE - BURST right into spring, then recharge it, then go into plunger. Grapple up, BURST left into warp. Go right and grapple up three cycles, then jump BURST grapple and move either direction. Grapple up 3 times then move to moving horseshoe platform and hit the spring. Grapple to top, move to arrow sign and drop left, flap once, BURST and grapple up into final plunger, skipping the previous ones. BURST to finish.
4-5 OVER ‘N’ OUT - Move left, grapple straight up, move left on cycle and grapple up, BURST left then grapple up. Jump BURST up up and keep burst left, up, jump BURST up to top and keep burst right. Instead of taking warp here, drop and float to the next section, it’s slightly faster. BURST left into roll section, recharge 1 rollburst, drop and continue left right before palm tree, move to the other side and grab the cycle that has the warp (not sure where I will be in relation to the cycle). Continue right and up to cycle, go to fan, float clip, move to fan, grapple up and before landing use a BURST and grapple the next cycle, then grab finish line.
- 4-6 IMBROGLIO - BURST right, recharge 1 (difficult), climb in a sort of slalom fashion and make the cycle at around 7 seconds. Climb up and a bit left, then at top at the end of the section before the palm tree do a drop swing to the right, BURST at max height and grapple the platform above, then BURST left into plunger. Move left and continue climbing up to armor, then BURST right, avoiding the flowers as necessary. At the end, BURST through armor and grapple to the finish.
4-7 SCHADENFREUDE - BURST left, climb while continuing left, turn around into warp. Move left over to device. Grab first cycle directly above you, continue moving up. BURST left, then past the second hammer jump and grapple up, then right, then BURST left and up and continue clockwise (holding more up than left) until the finish line (may use another BURST on the climb).
4-8 INTERZONE - BURST into plunger (doesn’t matter which), BURST left into roll section, recharge 2 rollbursts. Continue on zipper, jump grapple left, BURST left then jump at hill, climb up and jump over small conveyor, jump BURST grapple left and keep burst to plunger. Immediately jump BURST up through armor and grapple up and right to the cycle. Wait and move along the cycles, then slalom to finish.
4-9 CROWNED JOOLS - BURST left, half a second after conveyor ends, jump and grapple up left twice, then BURST through armor into plunger. Climb up and left, the slalom up, then BURST right and up over to device. Slalom up, then also slalom up the cycles to reach the correct part of the armor. Once on this correct spot, move right and grapple up to chance warp. BURST left into roll section and recharge 1 rollburst. Once out, jump BURST onto armor, turn right and up to finish. CHANCE: Bottom of current armored section.
4-10 UP THE JUNCTION - BURST left, grapple up up, left, then continue right, up up, make the cycle and stay in place. Grapple straight up, then jump BURST grab the cycle above and go to device. BURST left and leap at top of hill over the roll section to land much higher up, then slalom up to top and go left to plunger. Hit the spring, recharge 1 rollburst on roll section, then climb up to the plunger. BURST right, climb up while moving a bit right, at top move right, climb up the stairs, at the bent platform jump BURST grapple right, climb up, quick swing to grab finish (faster than plunger).
FUNKVILLE
5-1 THE CLIMBING WALL - Grapple up right very quickly to make the cycle, then up and slalom on the right to be on the top. BURST left, then jump and grapple above the roll section, keep burst left and jump and grab high up and continue up to right below armor. From about halfway up this platform, jump left through armor, then up, then grapple through conveyor to the right and into the warp. Jump BURST through armor, continue up and left through cycles and up to the top. BURST left and jump over roll section while grappling almost straight up to grab the ice and up to cycle (if this cycle isn’t here, drop swing right through armor). Move right to the higher armor section, then jump BURST grapple the platform with the plunger. Grapple up and finish.
5-2 THE SKYSCRAPER - Grapple right, left, left, jump BURST grab plunger. Move left to plunger. Move right to the edge of the platform, drop swing to the right, BURST at max height in the air to the left and grapple the small ring tower above. Climb up through easy armor section, jump BURST grab finish, no need to go around.
5-3 SPY D. CRINKLE - Climb straight up until the arrow, then BURST right over to the plunger. Climb up and left to the far left side, then continue straight up to the top, then BURST and jump flap right to the plunger. Go up and a little right, then climb the tower and move left, then up the armor, up twice more, BURST left and continue circling left, then grapple straight up to finish and BURST finish.
5-4 BEY BROOTH - Go left, drop at bottom of hill and hold left into warp. BURST left into plunger. Move left to the cycle, grab it without waiting and go over the flower and to the fan. Float clip to the right (to prevent bouncing), go to the perpendicular angle (one or two past the arrow sign) and drop right, BURST and immediately flap to make it to the 3rd layer of the tower. Go up, then continue right, go up armor and jump BURST through armor and up to plunger. Go left (avoid flower) into plunger, do the same thing again, BURST left into plunger (avoiding the hammer), then go left and grapple finish line. NOTE: There’s a small platform that moves up and down and has a diamond decoration next to it floating in the middle of nowhere and serves to apparent purpose. To reach it, from the perpendicular platform from which you drop in the run, move right two more angles and drop straight down. Jumping to the left or right of it turns you twice and using bursts you can reach the beginning of the level down below.
5-5 SNAKE’S MEOW - Grapple right, move right and make cycle, immediately BURST left to make another cycle, move right to the corner, grapple up and land, then jump right over the gap to the first fan, float clip to the left of the hammer and BURST left and up, grab small ring and burst keep up and left throughout the whole small ring tower, at top grapple up, then BURST right and up over to plunger. BURST left into roll section, recharge 1 rollburst, and into device. BURST left into roll section and recharge 2 rollbursts, then jump at end into the plunger. BURST left and hop over slime and land on warp (the hidden device below takes you to the same location anyway). Grapple up twice, then left to cycle, up up, move right to the cycle, then BURST finish. TAS: This strat is probably RTA viable but you would need to get consistent at ultra swings first. So, on the ring with the plunger that brings you to the first roll section, instead move left a bit, then burst right and ultra swing, then land on the metal right next to the device. This could save around 3-4 seconds, but is very difficult to do consistently.
5-6 THE INNER SANCTUM - Slalom twice, then left for a long time (maybe BURST during this section?), then once it bends outward go up, then slalom twice and BURST left into plunger. Go up twice, then move to the arrow and go up cycle, then move left 90°, grab cycle as fast as possible, then BURST left to catch cycle, move to outside on this and up, then back to inside and BURST finish.
5-7 OVER LEFTED - BURST left, at end jump and grapple up and left and continue left, then grapple up to the top, then BURST right and jump flap at the downturn, you’ll clip and burst keep, just continue flapping to the right, then land on warp. BURST left and hop over gap, land on zipper and continue left until the device. Grapple up through cycles and BURST finish. TAS: On the last downturn before the device, instead drop swing and burst left to reach the cycle and skip the device. This saves 2-4 seconds, but is really difficult and precise and generally not worth it.
5-8 THE WIGGLE WALL - Grapple up up, then left, up, left, slalom twice, grab cycle spinning to the right, then up to top (around 6 second). BURST left until fourth arrow sign, then jump BURST grab platform and into plunger. Catch the cycle, up up up, then this cycle is synced with the one above it, so BURST right and up, then continue up through cycles. At top, move to left edge to catch final cycle early so you can BURST finish without having to wait for it. NOTE: Opposite the shortcut plunger in the small ring, the two angles are poorly connected and it’s difficult to go from right to left and going from left to right drops you.
5-9 POPBURST - BURST left into roll section, recharge 1 burst, at end jump and flap left and grapple up and slightly left into warp. Drop left, BURST then flap immediately and clip into roll section (slightly faster than just entering roll section), recharge 1 burst. BURST left in small in-between area, then recharge 1 burst. Move left and continue straight up to top, then BURST left into roll section, recharge 1, then move left to device. Jump BURST through armor to the left (it’s a really tight jump), then up, go right to the other side to make the cycle, move to right to grapple right, left, then jump BURST through armor to the left and up, then BURST around to grab the cycle, move right and grapple up, BURST finish. TAS: Before the final roll section, it’s possible to short drop swing on the final turn before the roll section and land past the loop de loop. I don’t know if it’s faster and it’s probably not worth it outside of TAS)
5-10 BUG TROUSERS - Jump right, grapple straight up to plunger. BURST left and grab the first cycle and go into the warp. Move onto conveyor, at end jump BURST through armor and up, burst keep around and up, continue around and climb the ice (ignore bubbles) up to top and BURST into roll section, then recharge to full rollbursts, then device. BURST left to fan, float up and grab cycle on right, move right to leave cycle, jump BURST through armor (tough) and up to finish. NOTE: At the start, on the right side from player 1 there is a section where the platforms aren’t well placed and seem to be on slightly different horizontal planes. The same is true for the same spot on the other side but mirrored. Note - Potential skip before the large spiral roll section, there’s a lone angled ice platform that you can nearly drop swing BURST left to the end of the roll section. CHANCE: The second section is a huge spiral of zippers, hammers and flowers. There are also 7 hidden warps. The first is a normal warp, takes you to the top. The second is the same, though getting to it is much more dangerous. The third is a chance warp, where down brings you to first and up goes to fifth. Fourth is chance warp, down leads to second and up leads to sixth. Fifth is chance warp, down leads to third and up leads to seventh. Sixth is a warp that leads to the top and the warp is very off-center to the left. Seventh is also a warp that leads to the top, though you’re already there. In other words, warps lead to the top, the arrow on the chance warps bring you up or down a floor.
TEKTRICITY
6-1 WALLAGIS RISING - Grapple up the right twice, then BURST left all the way to the end of the track, the up, then drop swing up, then up, then jump BURST right, then grapple up right to the top, then burst keep right into plunger. Grab cycle and continue up to zipper, move left to gain speed then grapple up and left 3 times, then up to top, then left to plunger. BURST right and hope over gap, flap over to right and grapple up to top. BURST left, just hold left over first small gap (don’t jump), then hop over bigger gap and land on zipper, continue left and climb to finish. Note - After final plunger, the finish line is right above you. Unfortunately, even with an ultra jump and burst I still couldn’t even see it on screen while zoomed out, so unless an even greater height-gaining trick is found than ultra jump, it’s inaccessible.
6-2 STAR-VILLE - BURST left into plunger. BURST left and grapple up tower to top. Continue grappling up all the armor, staying on the left side because of one small section. Also, there’s one odd cycle where it may be better to drop swing through the armor instead of waiting, depends on the cycle. At one of the points, it may be faster to jump BURST through the armor. At top, BURST left into plunger to finish. NOTE: Some cycles have platforms that overlap. In all of these cases the left side has precedence, so if you hop while overlapping while on the right side, you’ll switch sides.
6-3 BOXER REBELLION - Acid drop, climb slightly left, up, BURST right into plunger. Hop left twice on the ice, grapple the left platform, grapple to the ice, BURST left without jumping and land on the warp. Grapple up, BURST left and hop over gap until below armor, then jump BURST through armor, keep burst and go around to the other side for the cycle, go to the other side again and climb straight up to finish.
6-4 SYLLABUS TREEHOUSE - Move left, climb up and through the armor to the top, move left into plunger. Grab the cycle and go up without having to wait, then up, then BURST left and up into the warp. BURST left, grapple through the ice to avoid the flowers, flap until the chance warp and land in it. BURST left into plunger. Circle around, grapple up and at top move toward plunger. BURST right and grab the finish. CHANCE: Back to where the normal warp takes you. TAS: When grappling the small ice platform near the hammers and flowers, instead land on top, do a grapple swing and burst in the air to grapple the ring after the chance warp and plunger. It’s not a lot faster and is very difficult, not rta viable, at the moment at least.
6-5 TWITCHY ! - Walk right, jump over the roll section, BURST (which then takes the property of the roll section below it), float once, then BURST again and flap to make it to the higher section, move left and grapple up up, move right and make the hidden cycle (about 8 seconds). On here, move left next to the flower and drop swing a little so you can grab the platform to the left of the flower and hit the plunger (you can’t jump over the flower). BURST and jump over the conveyor (you shouldn’t have to touch it), then continue burst past the hammers and into the warp. Go up the armor section (will probably slalom), then straight up to the top, then BURST to the right into the plunger to finish. (You could also jump BURST grapple the finish line instead, in ideal circumstances this would be about a second faster).
6-6 ...BUT FEAR ITSELF! - Move left to the angle and acid drop left, move slightly right and drop right, BURST, then jump flap to other side, grapple up right into plunger (this can all be done in about 4 seconds). Move left, grapple up and land on first conveyor platform, gain speed and hop and grapple left, then up, then jump BURST up to top. Grapple up twice, jump right, grapple, land on second zipper, gain speed and grapple to land on the high zipper, gain speed and jump. After landing, BURST right, grapple lower platform and continue to small tower, grapple up and left around tower and jump BURST finish. NOTE: Just left of where you start is a standalone and useless section with two conveyors and a small piece of normal ground. To get there, acid drop up like normal, then go to the end of this platform and drop left and burst + flap to it.
6-7 TURBO ROLLER ! ! ! - Move right, acid drop, grapple up, left, right, get cycle and grapple left, grapple up as it rotates and be in front of the hammer (around 7 seconds). BURST left, at top grapple mostly up (maybe a bit left, depends on where you start from). There are two viable methods here: 1) BURST left until warp. BURST left into roll section (should just barely make it before the flower pops up), recharge 3 rollbursts. 2) Move left until one angle before the straight piece with decoration on it. Drop right and BURST flap to the roll section, recharge 2 rollbursts. The second option saves around 1 second, but requires more skill and paying attention. After roll section, move left and grapple up (holding barely left, mostly up) the right stairs, then back right to the plunger. Jump BURST through armor to the right, then up, then go up the cycles to the top cycle and go to the far left edge and jump BURST through the armor past the flower and into the plunger to finish. NOTES: Very nearly can skip half of the level, but each of the three angles used for it are just slightly off. In the spiral section before the warp that leads to the roll section, you can drop and with careful Evan manipulation you can get right next to the final armored section and even right above the finish ring, but with an angle that’s just a bit off. - 6-8 SHOE FILTER - Jump BURST at the start and by using jump BURSTS through the tower you should be able to make the 9-10 second cycle. At top, jump BURST left without flapping to land on roll section and recharge 1 rollburst. At end, jump grapple BURST left to finish. NOTE: You start right next to the roll section that takes you to the end. This level could be under 10 seconds if I could reach it. On the roll section there’s a lot of lag when going up. Some way to reduce the lag? Your zoom doesn’t seem to affect the roll sections, so I don’t think there is a way. CO-OP: Yes, an actual co-op strategy. This would also work if you were incredibly lucky with a cpu. The other racer must do a vertical spin attack in the right spot so you get thrown through the floor and land right on top of the roll section. This skips climbing the first armored tower and the part of the roll section where you go down it.
6-9 LIVERSPOT - Move left to plunger. Move left, drop left once zipper levels out somewhat, BURST and flap to hit the acid and bounce onto the third platform. Climb to the top and into plunger. BURST left, drop and flap just before the end of this angle and grapple the bottom ring. Climb tower until below the zipper, drop swing to the right, drop swing to the left and grab platform, then up, then move to left edge. Drop swing to the left, BURST left, wait, flap, BURST again to reach the section above the fan. Climb the armor left, left, right, left, then to finish (if cycle is not below finish, just jump flap to under it and grapple into it). TAS: Right before the device that takes you to the roll section, you can drop swing left and with virtually perfect execution and Evan manipulation you would likely be able to reach the cycle right below the finish ring. I tried many times and got close, but just couldn’t get quite high enough. I also think the cycle has to be in the right position, moving to the next part of the cycle, which is absolutely not RTA viable. I tried using the tiny moving platform before the device, but the angle just isn’t quite wide enough to avoid the horseshoe above the fan.
6-10 MOHINDER A+ - Acid drop, grapple, grapple up and left to make the cycles, go up two of the weird cycles, then drop swing up, then slalom up to top and into chance warp. BURST left, grapple up, BURST left, grapple up to cycle, when it moves, move to right edge of next cycle, then grapple straight up to top. BURST left and jump flap at top of hill to grapple top of spiral (if you jump off of a bounce from the burst, you can get there even without grappling). Climb armored tower, move left at top and take left side of cycle, slalom to second to top and jump BURST left into plunger. Climb the cycles to the top. On top cycle, drop swing and finish. CHANCE: Just below the weird cycles.
SUN CANYON
7-1 CAVEAT EMPTOR - BURST left into roll section, recharge 1 rollburst. Grapple up, land, grapple up up up, land, grapple up right, land, up to top, move right to cycle, then BURST left into chance warp (doesn’t matter which arrow, they lead to the same spot!). Jump BURST to the right, go up twice, BURST left and flap to zoom up the armor to the cycle, but move back to the right. Once up, grapple to finish and BURST finish. CHANCE: Leads to the exact same spot regardless! Normal warp disguised as a chance warp.
7-2 ISLE OF POVROS - Acid drop, BURST asap and grapple up to catch the platform, grapple left and land on the zipper, move left to gain speed and grapple flap all the way to the warp. Grapple up twice, BURST left and continue up, then burst keep to the right and up, then BURST left and up, then burst keep right and up to the top (the path along the way is left 5, right 4, left 4, right 2). BURST left and jump just before ice and grapple nearly straight up to the top, move left into plunger. Climb to finish. NOTE: I once got a lap skip on this level. After finishing a lap, I hit the acid right away and the last checkpoint the game had updated me to was the finish ring, so Evan carried me all the way back there and it counted another lap. I have since been unable to replicate it on any level.
7-3 MADAGASCAR - Grapple right, move left and up to make cycle, move to the arrow sign and grapple up, BURST left and get the cycle, move right on the cycle, at top cycle grapple up and move right to the plunger. BURST left into the plunger. Drop swing BURST grapple to the left plunger. Grapple left and up, then jump BURST left through armor, then continue right and up around the armor all the way to the top, then left to the top and up to finish.
7-4 BASH-TASTIC ! ! - Grapple up to the top and into the roll section and to the device. Slalom up, use conveyor for speed to jump right, but don’t go to device and instead drop swing to the left on the edge of the platform and grapple up (saves like 2 seconds). Move right on conveyor, grapple up ice, then conveyor, jump right to device. BURST right, grapple up ice, then left and up to top. At top, move right and grab cycle on this side to grapple straight up during cycle, move left into roll section, at end jump and grapple before hitting the end and BURST finish.
- 7-5 OASIS - Slalom, then move right to plunger. BURST right to device. Drop swing to the right, landing on the conveyor, move right to the next downturn. Drop swing right, BURST flap grapple to the plunger. Move left onto zipper, hop over conveyor, BURST left and jump flap grapple above you, turn around and move right and jump to the armor and grab the cycle. On cycle, move to the right side of it, then grapple up right, then here drop swing BURST near the left edge of the zipper and straight up to the finish ring. [~36 seconds] NOTE: After third plunger it looks like you can swing jump to the right and grapple, or even burst and land on the armor (after more testing, I’m extremely close to making it. This warrants more testing as it would save time), but the top armor is just a little too high and the platforms are actually not parallel and you end up going to the side of it.
7-6 DER KLANGISCHER - Climb the tower and wait for the cycle. On cycle, be on the right side of the non-armor, then grapple up and move right to catch the right side of the next cycle, then move left and grapple up. Grapple right, left left and up to top, then grapple the left side and go around and up the tower. On the last part of the tower, grapple BURST up and continue to the top of the next tower and jump BURST up again, then continue up and left and into the plunger. BURST into plunger to finish. CHANCE: On second cycle, burst left instead and you’ll run into a chance warp. Down takes you to the first cycle. Up takes you to the second cycle. Also with this one we can see that the arrow for the chance warp is a separate entity and doesn’t move, whereas the warp itself moves with the stage. TAS: It is likely possible to grab the first cycle at the beginning, though I don’t know what the cycle will look like above it, so it may not matter in the end. Still definitely worth looking into.
7-7 THE PROPELLOR STACK - Move right two angles, mini drop swing and BURST right. Climb the stairs without stopping, then climb the helicopters (not easy to do quickly). There are 4 pieces of armor along the way. On the helicopter above the final armor copter, get on the platform without a cactus and move to the far left edge. Drop swing (start swinging when the copters are almost coming to a stop) and BURST flap to the end of the roll section. Immediately drop swing to the left and BURST left grapple into finish. TIME TRIAL: Climb to the very top, burst and flap left and you should be able to burst again above the finish ring, immediately ending the level.
7-8 FALLING STAIRCASE - Slalom three times then climb twice, move left and slow slightly to land in chance warp without having to wait (possible to reach under 5 seconds). Climb left, jump BURST right, jump BURST left and continue left, climb grapple sign platform to plunger. Move right to conveyor, hop over gap, drop BURST flap right shortly before the roll section to grapple the platform under the roll section. Climb ice stairs, being careful to aim more left on the final part. Grapple the sign platform and air BURST up to the finish. CHANCE: Two platforms below the conveyor.
7-9 BOHAMPSCIOUS - Grapple up right, then up to top while moving left. Move slightly left, drop swing to the left and BURST left and flap grapple to reach a higher platform. Continue up and right and past the armor to the plunger. BURST right and jump, burst keep right and grapple up and flap without slowing down and land on plunger. BURST right and up, then left and continue circling left while going up the armor sections and use BURST once during the climb to the finish. NOTE: Just under the first armor is a completely pointless small platform with an incline. Just drop down to reach it. It may be possible to reach from below with an ultra swing, but it would be hard to pull off and you’d have to drop swing to get up from it anyway.
7-10 POROUS TORSO - BURST left into roll section and recharge 1 rollburst. Jump and BURST left onto the armor and continue left into the warp. BURST left and up, go up the cycles (may need to jump into gap and grapple up, depending on cycle), go under the roll section and grapple straight up right next to it and enter it and recharge 2 rollbursts. Grapple left, BURST right, continue up armor, then grapple up the conveyor/ice section without gaining too much conveyor speed, then jump BURST left to fan. Float up, float clip, then jump BURST grapple finish.
PATCHWORK
8-1 HAMMERED ! - Acid drop, BURST left, grapple up to roll section, immediately acid drop out of it to make the cycle. Move right on ring, grapple up, move left slightly and grapple up, from the left edge of the inner part of this platform drop swing BURST left to land on the roll section above you and go into warp [~17 seconds]. BURST right into roll section, grapple up, then cycle, then up, then on next cycle grapple straight up early and up again without having to wait on the cycle (jump BURST grapple up if necessary). Slalom up and BURST finish.
8-2 ANAPHASE - BURST left, jump left without flapping, burst keep, hop over slime, grapple ice, slime and flap, hop past the slime and BURST left and grapple up and left to make the cycle [~7 seconds]. Jump BURST through armor and to the top, move along the ice without jumping to gain momentum, grapple up and left into the plunger. Move right on zipper, hop over conveyor, grab top of next platform and BURST grapple up and left into the rolls section. Recharge rollbursts, then jump BURST finish.
8-3 BIPPY - Climb right to the top (this is tough without landing), BURST right and up to plunger. BURST right and climb, then grab cycle and continue left, when the roll section is visible above you grapple up and BURST right on the roll section and recharge rollbursts. Jump BURST right onto next roll section, recharge rollbursts. Jump BURST up and continue climbing, jump BURST through armor again and climb to the top and cycle. Grapple up and BURST finish.

8-4 INNY - OUTY - BURST right and drop flap to the right to bounce to the armor tower. Climb up through all the spinning armor, then once it becomes stationary BURST right and up the tower until the top, grapple left, jump to the left twice, jump BURST to the cycle for the plunger. Grapple up and BURST finish. RACE: A star saves a ton of time on the spinning armored section.

8-5 DUCK FEET - Drop left, flap, grapple platform, move left and grapple up then to the cycle [~6 seconds], move to left side of cycle, grapple up and go left to warp. Jump BURST flap left, get to cycle, BURST left and grapple to roll section, recharge rollburst, (hop over flower?) BURST left into roll section and continue to top, move left and hop flap through the slime to the plunger. Jump BURST grapple right and up to the top, jump BURST finish.
8-6 THE PIPE WRECK - BURST left, recharge rollburst, hit plunger. Go right and climb to the top, BURST right to roll section, recharge rollburst, continue right and drop right early to land on the roll section (hold right to not roll left first), move to plunger. In the next cycle section, no bursts until the end, you can make it through each cycle without waiting with good movement. At the end, BURST to the smaller cycle, climb up, then BURST left and jump flap over the conveyor, climb small tower while keeping right. At top, BURST right, float up above top, BURST left and hop to go over flowers and onto plunger. Climb straight up and into plunger to finish. TIME TRIAL: At the very beginning it’s possible but very difficult to move a little left, burst right, acid drop, burst again and land on the roll section. I believe this would save something like 2 seconds, but you would also be out a rollburst, though TAS could get it back. Skip the second burst if doing this strat.
- 8-7 RIBBON TWIRLER - Acid drop, grapple to top, jump BURST left to the device (either one). Grab cycle, move to edge, grapple into plunger. BURST left into roll section, recharge rollburst, grapple up and BURST right into roll section, recharge rollburst. Grapple up and BURST right, stop at ice. On far right of ice, do a drop swing cancel and grapple the inside ring of the next section. Move right, grapple BURST finish. NOTE: Useless platform in first section. It’s two small angles pointing outward near the bottom of the central roll section. Very difficult to reach. Play the level like normal and go to the device. Take the cycle, but while on it and on the way down, drop right and burst then flap and you should be carried around an invisible path and be able to land on the platform. Stuck.
8-8 BOK CHOY - Hit acid on left, jump BURST through armor and grapple left to reach the cycle [~3 seconds]. At top, move right and make cycle, continue right, climb up the small tower and grab zipper cycle, move left immediately, jump over conveyor, grab cycle, BURST to warp. Grapple up, BURST left to grab platform, continue left and to the top, move to ⅔ up the hill and jump BURST to the right to land on the higher armor, then climb the armor horseshoe tower, drop swing up, land, grapple up, climb to drop swing sign and jump BURST up and into warp to finish. (All five warps take you to the finish ring). RACE: Possibly a lap skip? You start right next to acid.
- 8-9 BROKEN GLASS - Delay 0.2 seconds, acid drop, climb left and right and make the cycle [cycle leaves at ~6 seconds]. Move left and go up tower moving right, move right until the platform before the sharp turn, drop swing cancel BURST grapple right. Grapple up right until below the plunger, BURST to right of plunger and turn around to hit it. Move left to the long straight platform, drop left, BURST and land on top of tower, grab plunger. Grapple up cycle, grapple up cycle again, BURST finish.
8-10 ENCHILADA BABY ! - Move right, jump and grapple up twice, on third hold down to drop swing, drop swing again, grapple up to the left and to the top. On the way up the conveyor, grapple up to the slime, hop right and grapple up, hop right into the roll section, recharge rollburst, then hop to plunger. Move right and up, move right and up, slightly left and up, right to top and jump BURST through armor left, up, up, up, jump BURST through armor, left, plunger. BURST right into roll section (don’t jump), recharge 1 rollburst, then warp. Move left to straight angle, drop left, BURST flap grapple and hold left while grappling. Climb straight up 3 times (if you reach the top, drop one), move left, drop swing BURST grapple left. Climb the ice to the top and into the plunger. Climb the armor, at one point jump flapping left. Move left and climb the armor to the top and to the plunger, which will land on the finish.
TIKI WOODS
- 9-1 MOVIN’ MAYHEM - Move right into warp. Drop right, BURST and jump to tower, move right and up, then climb stairs left (with good angle, this should be fast climbing). At top, move right and up, BURST left and climb seesaws, on cycling seesaw grab it and BURST left to beat the cycle, then continue to top, grapple straight up, then continue to cycling seesaw but don’t burst, then continue through cycles to drop swing section. Drop swing twice, then jump BURST finish.
9-2 LOCUST SUMMER - Move left and up and drop swing normally and you’ll still make the cycle [leaves at ~8 seconds]. Climb, drop swing to the left, up, stay on the first two conveyors, then climb up twice, then jump and BURST left over the roll section, then jump and BURST left again to reach the drop swing sign. Drop swing, climb and grab cycle, climb to the top of this varied tower, go right through rollburst and up. Move to end of cycle and climb whichever tower you’re under (preferably the conveyor tower), go back to middle and climb tower into plunger, doing a drop swing on the drop swing sign. Move right, jump and BURST grapple to finish ring. NOTE: Lots of good spots for using bursts, I may not have chosen the best ones. Also a TAS could recharge a burst on the small roll section.
9-3 ROUND AND ROUND - BURST left into warp. Slalom through cycles, jump BURST onto armor and climb tower, at the top BURST right (avoiding the flower) into roll section, recharge rollburst, BURST into plunger. Grab the cycle to the left, wait, then jump before it descends and grab the cycle coming down on the right, then immediately grapple to the left of that, then move left onto the cycle and get to the top, skipping a cycle. At top jump BURST grapple to finish.
9-4 FOREST FROLICS - Jump BURST left over roll section to land on higher tower, climb cycle to top, keep going right when climbing this next section, then at top BURST right to the chance warp. BURST left, climb tower, hit cycle, BURST left, climb and go into chance warp. Move to roll section, recharge 3 rollbursts (difficult), fan up to top and float clip, jump right to plunger. BURST right to plunger (if I can only get 2 recharges, this is what I cut out). Grapple up, jump BURST through armor, grapple to top, up, jump BURST grapple to finish. CHANCE: 1) Bottom of the section directly below, it’s a section you wouldn’t see otherwise and has some fast moving cycles. Pretty brutal, definitely avoid this. 2) At the top of the previous section, where I began the burst. TIME TRIAL: Instead of moving into the roll section and flying up with the fan, drop swing burst grapple left to land next to or on the plunger. Faster, but difficult and you lose out on the extra bursts, so saves less than it would seem.
9-5 SO FOSSA SO GOOD - Acid drop, grapple up and up left into the warp. BURST left, hop, then just move left to plunger. Jump right on right edge of conveyor and use its speed and hop once and flap to plunger. BURST right, hop once and fall to plunger. Jump right on right edge of conveyor and use its speed and hop once and flap to plunger. BURST right, hop once and fall to plunger. Jump right on right edge of conveyor and use its speed and hop once and flap to plunger. BURST right to warp. Go into roll section, recharge rollbursts, left into plunger. Climb up and then go up the stairs, go up the cycles, waiting on armor for next cycle, continue up to drop swing up twice, then on the final drop swing sign, jump and BURST grapple to finish.
9-6 TIKI MAN - BURST right, hop over flower, acid drop, make cycle, get speed from conveyor at top, jump flap grapple left, climb tower and small tower to top, BURST left into roll section, recharge rollbursts. BURST left and go up fans, then on final fan wait to gain height, BURST left and grapple up to conveyor above. Grapple up, move right, up, right, jump flap over gap, up twice, jump flap left and grapple without landing on conveyor, go to top and drop swing up, grapple up to top, then go right to just before the roll section. In the middle of this final section, drop swing BURST right, then while in the air BURST again to gain more height and grapple up. Climb the conveyors and drop swing to finish.
- 9-7 TOTAL TECHNIQUE - Move left one angle, acid drop, grapple, jump BURST grapple to the right, slalom to the right, on drop swing go to the right (or jump BURST up), then grapple straight up, use conveyor speed to jump flap around, then on second conveyor section drop swing BURST to clip through armor (or follow course normally), then on the angled cycles continue circling around and up, then at the top BURST to the plunger (maybe jump BURST through armor from below to hit plunger instead?). Drop swing to max height off the edge to the right, BURST jump grapple to grab the ring (you must be before the roll gate and high in the air while the rings are swinging down). Wait for it to cycle out, then as it starts going back in jump flap to the right to land on the finish.
9-8 TROPICAL FREEZE - Move left, then on conveyor immediately acid drop and grapple up left to warp. Move left and at top of conveyor jump grapple straight up, climb up and BURST left in front of the tiny conveyor and grapple up and continue left, then climb 3 stairs left, up, 4 stairs right, 3 stairs left, up, right, hop right to conveyor, up, move right to armor and up, climb left, then climb the steep slope on the left by holding mostly up and a little left while alternatingly mashing jump and grapple (the path to the right is about the same speed, both are moderately difficult and inconsistent). This part is difficult, make sure you are zoomed out by hitting C-down. Climb the tiny ice platforms that are on odd cycles. Drop swings may help in one or two spots and you can drop swing burst from the second to last platform if necessary, but try to avoid the burst. At the top, climb these odd cycles as well, then at the last three drop swing signs jump BURST grab them instead and climb to finish.
9-9 SOLAR LODGE - BURST left and acid drop under the small platforms, climb straight up to the top, jump right and BURST left through armor and into roll section, recharge rollbursts. Immediately acid drop out of roll section, climb armor to the top and left into plunger. Move left, climb the cycles and on the second to last one, drop swing BURST jump grapple to the left, climb up, BURST left to small platforms, climb the platforms from the middle to the top. Jump BURST grapple, then jump BURST grapple again to finish.
9-10 THE BEACH - Move left. Grapple up cycle three times, drop swing, up another cycle, then jump BURST grapple to the right. Go up twice, then jump BURST grapple left and into the roll section and recharge bursts. Move left, jumping over the flower, then climb these really strange cycles (need to really figure these out), and the second to last cycle jump BURST (grapple?) to the top and into a roll section, recharge rollbursts. Go to the bubble, BURST right once high enough, grapple up to the top (don’t need to drop swing, the sign is a lie) and go to chance warp. Drop right, BURST left to roll section, recharge rollburst, climb the ice and slime platforms with confusing physics, and get to the cycle, using a BURST if need be. Once it finishes swinging, jump BURST grapple to finish. CHANCE: Just before the drop swing sign platform.
