Add multiplayer leaderboard

Leaderboards for at least 2 players. Where multiple people play together to finish as fast as possible.

Yeah I've been thinking of doing a CO-OP run with my friend but at the same time it's VERY connection based.

I would have added them, but as Man said, literally based off of connection. Load times are also a lot longer, and the game has to wait for everyone to be loaded in.

then we could have timing starts when everyone is loaded in and the round starts. That would solve the problem with that and the problem of people getting different loads then others.

The way to resolve all these issues is an IGT but we will find methods eventually

I was thinking of counting IGT, however I don't trust you guys to do math Kappa

But seriously, if someone could make an autosplitter that pauses the timer until the In Game one starts, then pauses it after you sink the hole, that'd be nice. I know nothing of coding or making them so gg tbh.

i would love to have that but it would not work with multiplayer because once you get in the hole you have to wait for everyone else to get in the hole but the timer would be paused by the auto splitter.

Well, I mean for the coding to make the timer stop when the IGT stops.

Timing might be a little weird to handle but its not that bad. Here is an example of a forest run with me and a friend. Connection isn't a huge problem. We are almost worst case scenerio with one player being in the USA and another being in Australia.

that's also where starting the timer after loading in becomes an issue with multiplayer...the guy on the right loaded in much faster lol

It can get inaccurate at the start, though (unless I guess you edit frame by frame as you did, which is a lot of effort for such a small thing lol). The timing as of now stays as is, and co-op seems arbitrary irregardless.

In Game Time is on the table, though I am unsure as to how to calculate it, especially in co-op where it gets out of sync between both players.

Hopefully an autosplitter gets made some day so I can make time w/o loads the default timing method.

That would be fine with me but if we do use IGT then we should have RTA required to submit to make sure no breaks are taken during the run.

Yes i know but when it does get finished if we use IGT we should stop people from taking breaks with RTA. Also while not related have the devs said anything about when the game will be finished?

Apparently by the end of this year. Though, they'll always be adding more levels.
