Game Over% All Difficulties Guide

# General
Download Granny [v1.7](https://apkpure.com/granny/com.dvloper.granny/download/35-APK) (I recommend you use a [Preset Mod](https://www.speedrun.com/granny/resources#:~:text=Preset%20Mods)) play on this version because the door being locked on day 2 is removed and the day 4 waking up animation doesn't play.
**Note: ** The current practice WR is in v1.5, this is because the above also applies to that version impart from the 2nd day door. It is locked on all the other difficulties.

# Practice
1. Walk into the attic.
2. Try to position yourself so you fall on the highest object, you get knocked out when your feet touch something.
2. Just before you spawn, pretend the joystick is there, when you wake up this will make you walk forward as early as you can.
3. On day 4 slowly look right.
4. Keep on doing these steps until you complete the run.

# Easy, Normal, Hard and Extreme
1. Start a game, on day 1 try to move forward as early as you can.
2. When walking down the stairs knock over the first painting.
4. Head to the basement.
5. Open the door and walk down the stairs until Granny kills you.
6. Just before you spawn, pretend the joystick is there, when you wake up this will make you walk forward as early as you can.

# How do they work?
* In Granny v1.3+ there are **5** item locations and **4** in <v1.2
* Item locations are called **presets**.
* The default item location is preset 1.
* When you leave a game you head to the next preset.  
For example: you're on preset 2 and when you leave it will be preset 3 next.
* When you're on preset 5 (the last preset) you will reset back to preset 1.

# Preset Mods
There are [Preset Mods](https://www.speedrun.com/granny/resources#:~:text=Preset%20Mods) that let you choose a preset so you don't have to keep on leaving and joining.
Sadly they're not available for v1.7.4+ and v1.6 beacuse they have IL2CPP. I want to make them for those versions.
In v1.7.4+ the code and battery are in different locations so using a preset mod that's <v1.7.3 for runs that aren't on easy won't work with the current route
# Tips
* If you've just failed a run you can exit and then clear the app's data to reset back to preset 1. The downside to this is that your sensitivity and difficulty will reset, but that's not that big of a deal it it saves you a few minuets. * Easy runs should always be done with a Preset Mod because the code and battery don't spawn.

## How to download

2. Extract it somewhere in your Internal Storage

3. Click on the apk file to download

- If the action cannot be performed, then give permission to your Files application to install unknown files.

4. Open the app

5. Give it permission to display on other apps

6. After opening the app, a circle on the left side of the screen that represents a dog will appear, click on it and start choosing what suits your run!

# Abandoned Dining Room Vase Clip

1. Crouch
2. Look roughly at the mark on the wall

# Vent OOB

This is how I do it, there are other ways
This glitch can be done with the [hammer](https://granny.fandom.com/wiki/Hammer), [melon](https://granny.fandom.com/wiki/Melon), [gasoline can](https://granny.fandom.com/wiki/Gasoline_Can) or [vase](https://granny.fandom.com/wiki/Grey_Vase). There are other items but these are the most useful.
This can be done on both sides
1. Look down
2. Walk into the bottom right corner
3. Move the joystick to the bottom right
4. Move it to the top right

# Screwdriver Glitch

# Secret Area Entrance Stair Glitch

# Bed Stuck Glitch
It is best to do this glitch at the start of a day and it takes some luck to do. This can also be done with any [bed](https://granny.fandom.com/wiki/Bed).
If you tap and hold on the [bed](https://granny.fandom.com/wiki/Bed) button then release when [Granny](https://granny.fandom.com/wiki/Granny) is in the right spot you will be more precise because you hide when you take your finger off, so this will skip having to bring your finger down.
## Bedroom 1:
1. Make a noise in [Bedroom 1](https://granny.fandom.com/wiki/Bedroom_1) [Granny](https://granny.fandom.com/wiki/Granny) should be in the [Basement](https://granny.fandom.com/wiki/Basement) or the [Main Room](https://granny.fandom.com/wiki/Main_Room)
