This is a guide with some basic tips for running the full game as fast as possible! Hopefully this'll help you with getting better times in the Any% category!
- Move during the fade-in
When you click play the game will fade in, and the in-game timer starts at the beginning of the fade-in. You are also able to move during this fade-in. If you hold W towards the door during the fade-in, you'll waste no time at all! (If you are on mobile, use the dynamic joystick to do this)
- Do some endings at the same time
When you are completing the Flooded ending, there are multiple phases where you need to rejoin. You can save a lot of time by completing other endings during Phase 1 and Phase 2, like Shoplifting and Freezer!
- Use the fast text option!
If you don't know, in the settings there is an option to have text go fast. This is a very important option to turn on during endings like Chips, Ultra Death, and Flooded!
UPDATE: process is complete, please notify me if i missed any, or if i make the mistake of verifying a run that didn't wipe save data for levels that require it.
