Ive been playing a lot of Borderlands 2 recently, ive always found the borderlands games fun so its nice to come back to them every now and then.
My current games list is literally a "find the outlier" minigame: Love Live! School idol Festival!, BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!, idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage, Hexcells Infinite. Tomorrow I might start a local coop Stardew Valley savegame again tho and I've been trying to find the time to start any of the racing games I already have on steam.
I play some CS:GO and Chess when I'm not practicing whichever game I'm actively running. It passes the time an keeps my brain sharp(ish)
Apparently i find myself playing a lot of Sudoku and for hours on end as i like stuff that makes my brain have to think, though there are times to where i think about something too much and actually over think the simple things a lot.
Right now? Roller Coaster Tycoon. Sort of revisiting but casually playing through all the scenarios successfully in my off time since I'm getting ready for a move. Probably about to throw some life away at Grand Turismo Sport and RDR2 soon.
Binding of Isaac and MLB The Show, for the 5th or 6th time this thread has been posted
As an "entertainment" I've been playing RE Revelations 1 a lot recently - I intended to play that on a regular basis just for watching for the progress of the records I've been making on resident evil net at the very beginning, but personally I simply found it fun to monkey around with the enemies on raid mode for some reason, so I've been playing the game just for real fun, or only for picking up a tiny bit of fun from that in my life. :D
My games have been a mix of Clone Hero, Smash Bros, and Halo MCC, along with some other games I've never finished like Bioshock Infinite and Forza Horizon
Ridge Racer Revolution is currently my project and when relaxing, Rainbow Six 3, NHL 08, SCP Containment Breach and maybe some Star Wars Battlefront 2 (Classic one of course)
The main game I've been playing a lot now is League Of Legends. When I was younger, I used to spend lots of time in Counter Strike though.
Some roguelites and shumps mostly, shmups because they still require a lot of replaying a game to get good, but even without improving times you still feel yourself getting better and going further in the game as you play as a badass ship/character wrecking stuff up.
Roguelites i play because...well, they are always different whenever i play them, whether i try to go fast or not, there is always something that is noticeably different about each run and i love that.
As for which games in both genres have gotten my attention?
ZeroRanger is one of my favorite games released this year and the best shump of 2018, no questions asked, fast, fun, great soundtrack and a lot of quality of life features and twists i love about this game i don't normally see in shmups.
Slay The Spire is the roguelite i am playing right now, it's odd, i typically hate card games but i have been playing the hell out of this game, it's really addictive and pretty damn fun to me.
Hi, if you want to kill time and a couple of nerve cells, then play in Destiny 2. There are both grind and gunfights, even the company is there. (until you knock out the barrel and learn how to shoot with it, you will have to change more than one chair) I even managed to stream a camera like this https://www.bestadvisor.com/action-cameras (to shoot my face during particularly bright fires)
