Generally as long as the video is publicly viewable it should be okay. I would strongly recommend just making a YouTube account if you're at all serious about your runs though, most of the alternatives just kinda suck (Dropbox videos won't embed and you'll run out of space pretty quickly, for example).
Sometimes its privacy concerns or regional restrictions. Plenty of sites work, just make sure they have public and permanent video links.

It depends what game it is, but your run might be rejected since it's harder to retime non-YT runs lol.

Theres enough easy to use tools now days to retime that its not that bad to use any sfw permanent file site. Its like when i see mods reject billibilli runs when some runners dont have a choice.
Please add Twitter embeds. I posted about this already but no mods responded. it would take like 3 seconds to do an update like that.
