As for the new categories, those are still under discussion. Preliminarily (not final) though, the current categories will remain but be renamed, with some changes on allowed/disallowed glitches.
IMO, and which I'm personally lobbying for, is that any big changes/additions to non-meme categories should wait for the new patch, as that will change things quite radically. Discussing what those changes will be should be open to everyone here.
Full list of glitches for Any%:
- Every glitch given by the game is allowed:
- Infinite Sprint Stamina Glitch
- Map/Talk Event Skip Glitch
- Sequence-Breaking
- Cut content
- Developer Spots/Tiles
- Infinite Looting (Samarie, Cherub, Neighbour, Needles and so on)
- Chaugnar Infinite Souls Spot
- Hexen Skip/Teleport
- Using "Rot" Against The Mob
- Going Through Faulty Collision
- Abusing Spice Forge Spells (Black Orb/Flesh Puppetry on party members that aren't the original owners)
- Infinite Bear/Booby Trap Looting
- Using Heroin Without Hands
But this is liable to change.
Edit: Edited some misinfo out.
Sorry to pester but what happened to the mod team? Why is there a super mod that hasn't run and why is there a new person with mod who also hasn't run? Also I forgot to ask but we are going to be reverting all the rules/changes then?
Sorry for the late reply.
I believe the current changes were already added by g0dh34d, which was the renaming of categories slightly (No Major Glitches and Any%) and the listing of several of the glitches that were allowed/unallowed. These changes should not disqualify any of the current runs as they stand, as that was the goal; it was more a clarification.
More changes will be added once the new patch is delivered, perhaps with a CP (Current Patch) -version of the rules, so the old ones remain valid. This has not been widely discussed yet. I will create a topic here on the forums to discuss this, so it's easier for everyone to see.
As for the mod/supermod question, I do not know.
Hi everyone!
We just wanted to announce some visual updates to the site, some updates to the rules, and introduce premade optimal saves for speedrunning. The visual update was just simply for a refreshing new look.
Regarding the updated rules, most of them are small grammatical changes/fixes b
