Apparently we found this "skip" and it works for most levels, it's pretty inconsistent but I think there is a way to make it consistent... anyone willing to help us with this vote yes for a discord server for discussions about this game etc (we're serious btw lol)

We're still not sure if this would work on the original Nintendo DS console, could be just an Emulator thing, if that's the case we could separate the Emulator runs from the original NinDS runs.

I should probably be more active on this site but this is the only game I run. If someone wants to make a discord I'll join, but I do Any% lol. I have a friend who does a bit of All Joshakazam Levels but hasn't submitted a run yet.

we were thinking about looking for some glitches for Joshakazam, we found out that there are a few levels we can almost insta-skip, we still don't know if that's an emulator only thing tho. I'm not very active in here either, but I might try one more PB and I'll probably try to use this little trick on it.

I can more or less confirm that skips are possible on console too, in some cases it might be easier than with a mouse.

It might be, since you don't have to flick a mouse, but a little pen or something like that right? anyone who runs Joshakazam levels on the original console should test that, it gives some good advantage and I still didn't see a run where this trick is used. As you can see it in the clip it is a bit inconsistent and risky, but if you manage to get it on first or maybe even second try you're gonna be saving a few seconds.

It's been a few days This run is awful and I didn't even finish but yeah most of the skips should be perfectly possible on console. The only concern is if an emulator is running slower and skips become easier as a result.
