I have a question about allowing RetroArch as an accepted Emulator for the leaderboards here. It seems like the emulators chosen as "acceptable" are all chosen with absolute precision to have the worst controller support imaginable. Would appreciate any clarity as to if there is a specific reason that the most controller-friendly Emus like RetroArch & Dolphin are excluded. Thank you.

I'm not a mod so I would join the discord and ask one for a definitive answer (https://discord.gg/HRHHZwC); from my understanding, the rules for emulators are regulated to be applicable across the series, not just any particular game. Funny enough RetroArch used to be allowed with specific settings, but that ruleset is now obsolete. If I'm not mistaken though, Dolphin is an accepted emulator on a per-game basis (I know it's allowed for Crash Nitro Kart and Crash Tag Team Racing). Essentially what it comes down to is emulation accuracy and the accepted ones are the most accurate.

What controller are you trying to use? Can't promise to be of help but I could help you troubleshoot it maybe.
