"i had just reached the point where corpsec locks down the hova, but had overshot while using speedboost. i hit esc. and hit quit. and when i booted it up again i could move even though the lines for the lockdown and Lomo saving you are going on. Iwas able to go all the way to lomo just before getting into the Sinwave club, because I couldn't talk to the bouncer to give him joos. but it only took like 7-8 seconds not including loading time to get there, which is about how long the cutscene is. sorry I wasn't able to save footage"

Just did some testing of it on my own, and it is indeed a thing you can do. I timed how long it took to get from lockdown to landing normally and using the glitch, and unfortunately, the glitch took about 4s longer to do, even with my game being on an NVMe drive. I'd imagine that gap would only grow as you use slower drive tech, but oh well.
