Loading into a level can have varied amounts of lag, so because of that, timing will actually start on the first frame Bobo Gooey exits his "ball" state (a.k.a. first standing frame) and can first be controlled when entering the level.
A few things to note, for older runs it will take some time to retime them accordingly. Descriptions will have the old timing method for old runs, and if it was timed incorrectly before that'll also be noted. If I had to give an estimate, maybe 3-4 days before it's all retimed.
This is, however, immediate for any new run submissions. I doubt there's anyone who's wanting to be a new runner in the next few days, but if you are then keep in mind timing is different.
I also want to note that IL verification rules are the same. You MUST select the level from the level select screen in order for your run to be verified, and no IL times achieved in fullgame may be submitted. The first mods for the game wanted it to be that way, and I'll keep it running that way.
Partly because of IL rule change and partly because of former mods, all runs with videos uploaded to YouTube have been frame-timed. This may partly mess with the IL WR progression, but for the sake of fairer IL timing and also accuracy, I'm willing to accept that. For runs not uploaded to YouTube, i
