I figure this is a worthwhile thread to start, considering I can't seem to easily find much about sword climbing quite yet. I came across a video of sword climbing being performed, but when I tried doing it myself, I wasn't able to replicate it, so getting the relevant info out on a public forum seems reasonable at this stage (especially considering it's the trick that separates the two main categories right now).
First off, what are the required inputs for sword climbing? Second, does the sword throw ability need to be at a certain level for sword climbing to work properly?
Yeah everything is very barebones at the moment I'm trying to figure everything out but I'm riding a bit solo at the moment LMAO. Sword climbing is a glitch that allows you to basically fly over everything if you have the sword throw and jump attack abilities unlocked and I will post a run of me using the tech as soon as I can, for now though I can do my best to explain it in text form as well as add a little clip of me hitting the tech. You basically just jump and mash both your sword throw button as well as your attack button at the same time. There's a certain rhythm to it and I find it impossible to do on mouse so I would recommend rebinding 2 of your keyboard buttons next to one another to make the mashing a bit easier!
