Hey everyone,
I'm sure you've all noticed that it's been a very long time since NPCs2 has had any new content, such as endings, NPCs, etc. Turns out, which I forgot to say months ago, the devs have decided to put the game on hiatus. Possibly forever, I don't know.
What this means for the game, and the leaderboard
Despite the hype you may have seen for new content relating to last year's Christmas, that never came to be. So any "seasonal" endings are off the table for now, including future content updates.
As for the leaderboard, I can assume right now that absolutely nothing will change regarding its layout. The "Launch" version could possibly be the ONLY version of the game forever.
Will the leaderboard die out due to lack of new content? Most likely, as it seems to have already done that. But don't worry! I'm not going anywhere, and I can assume neither is pocogamer. However, due to the demand for runs of this game becoming extremely low each day, many runs may take days, possibly even weeks to be verified, due to the assumption that nobody runs this game anymore. Apologies in advance.
But yeah, that's about it. Honestly, a sad way for this game to go out.

I'm looking for more people to help me out with moderating NPCs2, and to therefore become verifiers for the leaderboard... (and maybe moderator if you're good at it!)
If you're interested, DM me on Discord (you can find me on the speedrunning discord) with maybe some information on why I should choose you, and let me know of any previous things you've done on SRC, such as moderating other leaderboards.

With a recent rule change that I've put in place, I'd like to now announce that using Streamable or other similar TEMPORARY video hosting sites to host videos of your runs are not allowed on this board. Please instead use an alternative such as YouTube, as that site allows you to host videos on the site PERMANENTLY.
