I'm extremely happy to inform you guys that the game has gotten a lot of new people doing runs lately. This is great for the community and health of the game an I'm really happy to see our favorite game growing! But please before you submit or even go do your first run. Read the rules! Me and the other moderators have had to reject like the last 5 or more runs, purely out of people not following the general submission rules or rules of the game.

Rule changes

We have changed some of the rules for a Grimhook speedrun to be verified. This will not invalidate, and we will not delete older runs that don't conform to the new rules (as the rules added don't change the runs in any way, and this rule change is more of a rule revamp).

• The rule change we implemented is: Input overlay must be visible at all times (Note that this was a rule for some categories, now it will just apply for all categories not just glitchless as without one in any% (no OOB included) and 100% (with glitches) you could do a micro screen-walk that could be unnoticeable but give you a slight advantage in the beginning of the game.)
• The other change is: "The game audio is required (At least Dialogue and SFX, music can be off if you'd like)"

After careful consideration, we've concluded that we will be Archiving the runs using a certain exploit.

We hope this doesn't discourage those whose runs were archived, it was a mistake on all accounts, and we are amending that mistake

and we hope to see the new runs you all post.

New category and Rule adjustments

We added any% glitchless.

Rules for any% glitchless and 100% glitchless have been added/changed. Previous runs in the 100% glitchless category have not been removed.

New Rule Enforcement & time changes

Recently we had a new rule change(Simply clarifying the rule) and some run reviews. Don't worry none of your runs were taken down, BUT they had some time added to them(those that used a certain exploit at the beginning of the run).

• 10 seconds were added and but your runs are in the same place they were before.
• New rule enforcement.

Grimhook Speedrunning no longer requires you to play the game. You just run around out of bounds.

No combat. No hooking. Just jump and wallrun.
