The previous ruleset for individual level speedruns (Any% and Death%) was that time would start the first frame that the start button disappeared completely for a level. I have changed the rules so that time starts the first frame that the start button appears for a specific level. This increases the skill-based aspect of the game and focuses more on reaction time / anticipation rather than patience to tie the record. Another reason why I have made this change is to incorporate the level 12 start button not disappearing right away on purpose.
