All the Credit for this find goes to GarrVingador. Still experimenting on if it can be used in any other places. 

- Press and Hold Down + Jump when you reach the right half of the first tree in the background, just before the spike pit. 
- You can release the buttons once your character starts gliding forward.
- The Zip messes up the game memory values that you will need to hard reset if you want the skip to work again. 
- This skip saves 7 seconds.
- At the time of this guide, this has only been tested in the SNES version of the game.
