A few runners and I have found that the blob behaves strangely if you press a move or jump key when the game starts. It appears to be moving very quickly or teleporting in the direction of the key pressed. This "glitch" can give a clear advantage if used over runs without it. But, it seems to happen differently depending on the version of the game: for example, I have the impression for me that the whole game is accelerated during a second, sometimes with the timer also accelerated. For others, the ball will sometimes have inconsistent trajectories at the very beginning, or sometimes this glitch will not occur or only minimally. Also, I think it adds another random thing to the run.
Do you think we should accept runs with this glitch at the start? I would act according to your opinions on this topic for the run verifications.
Hi ! So today I beat the WR of a game (Another Code Two Memories) that I am moderating but the leaderboard refreshed in a strange way: I am therefore 1st but also 3rd, as before: my two runs were both displayed on the leaderboard. To correct this, I deleted my old run: it fixed the problem, but it created another one. My old run was the WR before, so by removing it, part of the WR History is now erased. So, is it possible to put a deleted run back in the WR History? I think no and it doesn't matter at all, but if it's possible it's still nice ;)
hi, i’m new here and i wanted to try a Star Cup run, after few attempts i did this : IGT = 8:28.992 (https://imgur.com/Xyx7Nop) - RTA = 9:39.67 we can see that there are approximately between 70 and 71 seconds between the IGT and the RTA We can find this very often in this leaderboard, so, i got intrigued by a few runs that break the "rule" : paintophobia’s time : RTA = 9m47s - IGT = 8:40.688 (around 67s difference) Aresh’s time : RTA = 9:38.82 - IGT = 8:34.234 (only 64.5 seconds difference) (there are some other ones like this) I wonder why these times have a smaller RTA-IGT difference : in my run, i spammed A in each cutscene and skipped them as early as possible, so how did they do ? Is there a possible time range for the cutscenes ? Is this a game version difference or any other thing ? Am i just dumb and i don’t understand a basic thing of the game ?
