Wait if what Tenebrosful said is true then it doesn't matter if you did a poll. PvP is against speedrun.com rules and it should go. Right?
i think it only needed to be done on the "All Tutorials" section. it doesn't make sense for the single tutorials as you start the timer after the loading screen anyways.
So you would have the normal time with all loading screens
Then i would -go back in my video and find where each loading screen is in the middle -time out how long each of the five loading screens took -then just subtract from the total. that seems about right.
I don't think the "random matches" should be a category at all. there is too much variance in the skill of players of both the person running, their teammates ad the opponents they would fight. it's also pretty usual to not include (online) competitive matches as a part of speedrunning.
though i would also extend this to get ride of the "cpu matches" category as there is still lots of variance even with computers opponents, i would like to hear thoughts on just ridding of "random matches"
Ninja, i think it would be in everyone best interest if you got the discord app and made an account. it's free and it would be the best way for all of us to talk about how to move forward on a matter like this.
For the All Single-Handed Cat., you can do subcategories under a larger tab for "non DLC" and "With DLC". It can be similar to how smash does their All Classic Mode with sub cats for the base roster and for DLC pack 1.
when was the rule about using a fresh pencil come into place?
Then a good amount of the IRL speedruns need to be reviewed for pre-sharpened thing. I think that the 1pencil runs for first and second start off pre-sharpened and the FootCream run in 10pencils too.
I mean the rules state that the pencil must be unsharpened and unmodified for the IRL category.
But you cant complete the game with only doing 1-medals. But in the ILs, each level has a 1-medal and 2-medal category. the Allstar and 100% categories need some flushing out on the rules honestly.
I am leaning more to "no Feats" but "yes Outfits", myself.
Seeing as it is 100% i feel like getting all the costumes would be a part of it. the Feats of Glory could be a maybe because they act as the achievements and i don't know if other 100% runs in other games count the achievements.
The costumes would also, probably, just turn into grinding money for a bit to get them all.
For IRL, do the pencils have to start as unsharpened? Because it says so in the rules but, i think, the top 3 places for 1 pencil start with partially sharpened ones.
For completion of the category, for example level 12, are you beating the 11th level and arriving at 12 or beating level 12 and arriving at 13?
