Many game modifications give an unfair advantage, and so we only allow certain mods to be used within your speedrun submissions. This post lists every mod that is currently whitelisted. If you use any mods not listed here in a run submission, your run will be rejected.

To suggest a mod to be added to the whitelist, you can join our Discord server and navigate to the suggestions forum channel.

We never had a 100% save subcategory in full game runs, and this is a core reason why we decided to remove the 'All Items Unlocked' subcategory - the two were frequently confused.

That is to say, from now on all full game runs must be done on fresh saves. You can still run individual shards on any save.

yes there is, in fact they already exist!

if you click the 'levels' button you can view leaderboards for each shard plus tutorials

speed under 99 m/s probably wouldnt work all that well since zoe naturally accelerates up to 106/107 m/s

we have talked about this in the discord server and the devs will be adding it to the in game autosplitter. currently there are no plans to change the demo rules, as it is just a demo and there will be yet more changes to the rules when the full game comes out so its easier to just wait until then 👍

to add to the impact example, imagine how much that time deficit would scale once the full game releases with more levels. even if you have an incredible computer, you will still lose microseconds at the minimum over someone with a nasa computer which can add up over many many levels

hi everyone, nice to meet you! i was really looking forward to running this game, but come to find out... loading screens are counted towards the run time

this sucks because it puts anyone with a less-than-stellar computer at a huge disadvantage

to give you an idea of the impact, i am currently losing about 1-1.5 minutes from all the loading between levels. that guarantees no top placements on the leaderboard for me simply because i dont have a big enough wallet to buy a modern computer

regardless, im probably going to submit a run because i like this game a lot and enjoy it, but it would be nice to see loading times removed from runs in the future so that i can actually be competitive
