I'm expecting to be shut down here, but is there any way the Stay in Shadow workshop maps could be get a leaderboard added?
I didn't do a madcap speedrun, but I might do one eventually
Where's the madcap any%?
That does seem useful, it would definitely improve time over the world record.
Actually, stage three platform skip isn't useful. We can't keep our momentum through it. It doesn't save any time, in fact it probably LOSES time.
If we could keep momentum through it, though, it would be useful.
There's Xsplit Broadcaster and OBS. Both are free. Just hook your TV up to your PC with an HDMI cord and start recording.
I was gonna do a speedrun and when I entered the second area I got stuck in the ceiling above the spawn point.

Yeah, but if we could use the tab switch glitch to make him fall past it, maybe we could get a Bowser Skip going. I mean, it makes koopas occasionally fall through the floors, so maybe we can make Bowser fall past the screen border.
Timing it to switch tabs right before he teleports back up would be important.
The tab switch lets you skip a lot of parts of the game. Elevator, wall jump section, you can even pass through the ceiling or the floor.
The question is, can we use it to skip most of the Bowser fight? The finish screen pops up when Bowser falls below the game border.
Anyone else been fighting Bowser when he started his jump attack at the same time as using his flame wall attack? I've had this happen multiple times, and it always ends with me dead, cuz he just spits flame walls nonstop.
I'm not saying it is faster. After I glitch through the blocks, I lose all momentum, while in your run, the A+jump keeps your momentum. If we could find a way to keep momentum through the blocks, then we could have faster runs.
Alright, thanks. :)
Edit: In a few of my runs, I've glitched through the line of blocks at the start of room 3. I didn't see that in your run, magnetic, so maybe that could be a slightly faster route of the room than in your current run?
Well, if someone made a flash player that perfectly copied a browser's flash glitches, then alt+tab would theoretically work, right?
What is the fastest times for each level? I'd assume that some people have already gotten the best times possible for a level, but which are the fastest that people(with video evidence) have managed to beat each level so far?
Just came up with a "No damage taken" category idea
I'd assume it could, if you leave a browser open and use alt+tab to switch windows in the same fashion you'd change tabs on a browser.
What about an "Only Hit Bowser" category?
Or a Hardcore category (Something like "No A+Jump and no tab switch")
