that's really weird there should be a show all button but there isn't for some reason
beat my no sub 20 pb by 0.5s lmao
also what in the world was that six
When you look at the official rules for the game, it says that a run will be rejected if there is no game audio, which the no music deterministic patch obviously removes. Does that make it unviable for actual runs of the game?
This run is unverifiable because of the lack of an input display (since I believe I have to downgrade my recording software to get one), but I still wanted to share it since it's a high level run and pretty close to perfect for "normal" strats.
Run starts at approximately 1:07 but feel free to watch the intro if you like
The longest standing WR since the 3:07 finally got snapped
The 2:10 cycle isn't that difficult; you just need to get a good LR march, a fast headwind section, and a fast inbetween gravitii. I'm able to do it every few minutes on average
took an entire month but nor's april fool's joke finally became a reality... almost
I find it insane that the train IL strat has been unchanged for over a year now
Canadians now have the IL world record in every level except level 7. Canadian IL sweep incoming?
I've been grinding for sub 3 lately and recently I've found out I'm doing it with way too thin of a margin of error (even the tiniest mistake usually kills the run). I have my eye on resetless 10 as a possible buffer, but I'm way too inconsistent at it (I can set up the first corner boost OK but not the second). There has to be something I'm missing to make it RTA viable.
Something to help with 6 ramp double jump and that weird resetless 4 strat would help too
I've been getting into the game the past few days, and it seems like my double jump consistency is absolutely awful. I can barely string together the four djs needed to get out of level 2 properly, nevermind the rest of the run. I've watched the tutorial video, I'm pressing space three times. Is there some sort of tune or metronome frequency I can listen to help?
The oldest and most famous IL world record in the game has finally been toppled
@lombre914 do red ball 2 then, I'm thinking about speedrunning it myself
The idea makes sense. Minecraft's cRSG is a category that requires fluency across the entire series, and is a true test to the skill of a runner. Being really, really good at one category of a game is one thing; being really, really good at five or six at the same time is another.
Granted, it would be quite difficult to master all 6 games in the mainline red ball series, but it's been done before (just ask Maximum). This could also encourage more runners to try out other games instead of just optimizing Red Ball or Red Ball 4 Vol. 1.
This is a category killing run, good job for breaking caramel's dominance on the game
For some reason I've been having a way too hard time timing the recoil jumps of both fast 3 and bird 3, with my consistency being around 1/3 with each of them. I'm grinding for sub 3 right now but I'm struggling to get out of level 3 on pace.
Any way I could possibly remedy this situation?
