In-game time for this run now listed as RTA to be closer in line with the current ruleset for the category.
For now the consensus is that it is best to use manifests with the same date and time of being committed to SteamDB. This way we are not running the risk of running versions that weren't intended to go together.
Currently used manifests and commands:
Grim Dawn 1.1.3.1 <-- Used for current (as of 01-Oct-19) Normal and Ultimate FG and Normal Vanilla runs (NMG) (changelog for the main patch: https://forums.crateentertainment.com/t/grim-dawn-version-1-1-3-0/82956 ). Datetime for these varies, I presume there were no changes for AoM content in hf1, so there's no manifest present in SteamDB

The following manifests weren't tested (my route for AoM doesn't make use of Crucible). In case of any problems please leave a comment.

I have nothing to say against anybody who decides to run older versions of gd. Don't see why they should not be approved for leaderboards either, especially if the version number is provided for each submission.
Personally I'm going to stick to running the most recent version though, at least for now. Maybe in time there'll be a version indorsed by the International Grim Dawn Speedrunning Community™, one suited best for speedrunning the game. Until then I'm totally fine with free-for-all.
The fact that we are on the opposite sides of the world makes me a bit sceptical about the possibility of playing together with any semblance of comfort, but I'm up for at least trying this out.
Feel free to hit me up on Discord.
I think this route should be in any% just cause it is. Old routes can still be run as "All main quests" category.
Hey Freezard. I think that it'll be great if people found ways of encorporating the Crucible into their routes. Would break the monotony a bit, you know? I have nothing to say against it.
Are you aiming for an elite/ultimate run by any chance? Eh, going off-topic with this. Anyway, I'll check out a bit more closely what Crucible has to offer and maybe post some thoughts here once I have time.
Ah, ok then. It's nice to see that I am more or less on top of things and haven't missed anything huge and obvious and important.
Honestly, I have zero idea why you make a big deal out of this. If anybody needs a level 20 char so much, she can just cheat one with no problems at all. This also has no bearing on speedrun strats since the exploit requires you to have a premade char who got to ultimate. Am I missing something?
