( https://www.speedrun.com/smwhl/run/m3l22vdm ) The video on this record was deleted because his YouTube account is now deleted. So, we are no longer able to recheck it. But, there were multiple reasons to be skeptical of this record. It may include my wrong memory, but it doesn't change the fact that it had some doubt point. -This record was confirmed by himself. -Sprite generation was not so prefect, but it looks like "unexpected" generation was so few in whole run. -Because of fewer "unexpected" generation, Rubiss playing was so similar to a Vanilla 11 Exit run. Rubiss had never lost his cape on whole run. -Sometimes Rubiss played incomprehensible as if he knew the result. For example: In SW3, Rubiss hold silver P switch first. But Rubiss didn't fly right away, and went back and forth three times, then fly to key block. (then Rubiss got key on the first try.) Even though Mario had already got P-speed on first time, Rubiss made round trips. -As noted on the record, Rubiss ran on an emulator which was don't normally used. -Rubiss deleted SRC & YouTube account after submit this record. It is after some people (Vanilla SMW / Highland players in JP) start to doubt this record.
I don't know if it is already talked on somewhere, but it is certain that this record has a negative effect on Highland community. I have heard that a Highland Player deleted his record because of doubt on current WR. I'm not a Highland Player, but as one of viewer, it is so sad that there is doubt on current WR. It may be too late to said, but I would like moderator to state your opinion on this record.
