ngl @_abyss actually makes some pretty good counter arguments. I think making emu runs separate from physical and VC but still putting them on the boards would bring more popularity to the game and most likely wouldn’t be an issue. iirc the main argument for emu being banned is that it’s easier to cheat? I’m not sure how that works but i’m sure someone with more dolphin/general TAS experience could give more insight. Also, “just buy the damn game” and “it ain’t that expensive” are not valid arguments at all lmfao
This was talked about a little bit, but not enough people have done a run for it to become a category. if you want, you can check out my run :D
Sounds like hell, but I know NSMBDS has a 2x Any% CE, so maybe we do like 3-5 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Lol I get the joke Volza. I’m here to explain the awesome joke. Cats; they are (not literally, of course) known for having 9 lives. So when Volza here says “might as well call me eleven cats,” he is making reference to this “cats have 9 lives” phenomenon. Take note of how many lives Volza has at the end of this video (around the 5:27 mark; he gets these lives in the quickest time in world history, wow!) Volza appears to have 99 lives. Now, let’s recall that cats have 9 lives, and Volza compares himself to 11 cats (in terms of number of lives of course, not in terms of appearance, functionality, or other inhuman qualities; he is not a furry by the way). When using division arithmetic, determining the quotient of 99 (the lives attained by Volza in this world record “speed run”) divided by 9 (the assumed number of lives that a cat has), we coincidentally get 11 (the amount of cats that Volza claims we “might as well” call him). So, Volza’s joke is that he has as many lives as 11 cats would have (Inversely; 11 cats * 9 lives = 99 lives)! Now that, is funny and awesome! Good one, Volza :D (This joke is genious, thumbs up man!)
