Recently I've seen that the Discord and the Wiki were linked on the Yoshi's Island site: http://www.speedrun.com/yi
I would like to know if a mod is able to add that or if someone with a higher rank would have to do it. I would love to add the Discord and Wiki to all 3 games of the Gex series: http://www.speedrun.com/gex
Tutorial by Djbmans.
I found this video yesterday, this glitch is amazing.
This might be interesting.
This Glitch allows you to walk through any walls by interrupting the Cutscene, which tries to move you to a certain position, with a level up text/animation or just by talking to someone/something. It's only been done here so far but I'm sure there are more great uses for it, especially if you are able to hit loading zones in that state.
Hello everyone, I went ahead and created an Evoland Speedrunning Discord server. Anyone who speedruns Evoland or is just interested in the games can feel free to join:
I will also add every moderator as admin/mod if they join. Peace ✌

I looked through the files in this game just for fun and found something interesting. Here are the pictures of the level files in the game:

The first 3 worlds are the normal levels. In the 4th world there apparently is the hub world (even though there are 2 hub world files, one called "HUB1" and the other "HUB3") and Demo levels.
The first really interesting thing are the FRONT Levels. There are 4 of them and are labeled exactly the same as the other normal levels, that means Level 1, Level 2 (although the is no FRONT2 .bin file), Level 3 and Boss Level. That is really strange because I have no clue what kind of levels these could be.
The other really interesting thing is the "SECRET1" Level. I mean just the name "Secret" makes it look super interesting because we don't really know what it is.
One of these levels could be the gallery or something like that but here is my question:
Is there someone who knows a way to intentionally load into these levels, so we can see if it could possibly be a level we've never seen? That would be amazing to find out.
But if you don't know how to, we could still first discuss what each level could be. Maybe each level file is something we've seen, but you never know :)
You can now add the specific Release Date of every game on this site. Jumpyluff, you should change it to October 20, 2000, that is the earliest release of this game :)
I wanted to suggest adding a Level Leaderboard. Of course 100% would be the main category (And really good for practice) for each Level, but maybe Any% could also be a thing? By Any% I mean to just get to the teleporter at the end of each level. That would be really cool because it would be really short and you would be able to find huge skips in nearly every level.
Whether we add Any% or not, A Level Leaderboard would be great. I think adding Bosses to the Level Leaderboard is not needed.
Cheers :)
I think it's good to have one Thread where you can any Glitches/Tricks/Strats instead of posting a new Thread for every Trick that is found, so the forum is more clear.
So feel free to post anything you found in this Thread!
For big Skips or Glitches we can still make seperate Threads. (Would be great if a moderator makes this Thread Sticky)
This skips hitting any Switch in this room. In 100% you still collect all the stuff in this room of course, bit it still saves a decent amount of time.
