That is when how the A press affects the RNG. It is pretty difficult to get the correct frame and a lot of the times you will be one frame late or early, its kind of luck. If you soft reset one second late, you will get all the ID's to the right. (35966) I don't know if the french version affects this, but I hope my explanation on the RNG is helpful.
Bro i had no trouble just watched it minimum a couple times, you skip the the parts that dont matter, and you just practise each part of it, (You need a bunch of repels) and just do it over and over until you memorize it, once you start doing runs you should remember it for awhile, aslong as you run it every once in a while
You will get it 100% if you have the right ID on the same day that you start the run

So I recently started to like speed running soul silver a lot, I have ran soul silver a few times going by igt, because I couldn't do rng manipulation, I watched jtmagicmans video on rng manipulation () and I am always a few frames off, recently i have been getting the id "45743" several times, and i was wondering if i am really close to getting the correct id "17998" Or if I am doing something wrong.
