please help! ive downloaded autosplit & OBS but it wont let me download any of your links posted above(it says unable to find file), im new to this & cant figure out how to use a livesplit. if these files arent available any chance someone can teach me to make my own?

Wish I could do this on PS4 or XB because my stair skating isn’t that greatest, which I don’t understand lol I’ve always been a prettt good button masher & when watching people who are amazing at stair skating doesn’t sound like they’re mashing that fast. I don’t understand it lol

@Voxgizer THanks for the response. I’m guessing I’d need to have an Elgato (of course I sold mine not too long ago, now I really want it back lol)to do this? I can’t stream on YouTube or twitch (from PS4 or XB)then upload the program on my PC thru the website(twitch or YouTube)?

I’ve noticed a lot of speed runners (like Pessissim) using a program that tells you how fast you’re doing & has them catergorized (ex. Chemical, Crank, Armor Key etc.) I’m really hoping I can get this program playing on PS4 or XB1. If I can how do I? Thanks for the help in advance!

I’ve seen speedruns(NG+) when they use the rocket launcher to take down the webbing but how do they do it so good? Pump cancelling I’m guessing, they seriously don’t move from one spot & do it super quick. How do I do this? Has to be clearly a lot quicker than the knife because you only have to stop at the item box 2x instead of 3

This is only for PC I assume? I’ve tried to remap on XB1 & PS4 but it doesn’t allow me to remap to a joy stick direction

One quick thing, do you have to use Arrange? Cause I’m god awful at using them lol it does seem like you move slightly quicker with them tho that’s why I think speed runners use it. I was getting pretty good at dodging Zombies with original now I gotta learn all over again lol

Hi guys I’m new to speed running, been playing the original RE’s since they’ve been practically released but just started speedrunning this past week(best time is 1:37 w/Jill new game+, only have tried it 2x so far and figured rocket launcher is best way to learn). But my question is mostly about settings, I play on XB1(do own a PS4 and would consider switching to it if it’s a better console forREmake & Zero) and would like to know how I should change the settings, I’ve seen everywhere change the language to Japanese but besides that have no idea what else to improve my time. Do I use arrange or original, do I use the dpad or analog stick, just learned about stair skating yesterday & been practicing that but any tips on what I should do would be greatly appreciated! Btw sorry if there was a thread with this already, I looked and didn’t see anything also if anyone can send link for discordthat would be amazing! Thank you guys and thanks for having me :)
