Automatic - Game has full control of gearing / shifting. Easiest but slowest method. Requires Clutch / Transmission upgrades to counteract sluggish shifts & specific optimisations in tuning. Manual - Gives the player control over gears. Allows for optimal gears for the power band in terms of shift timing and cornering and avoiding 'bogging' / hopping between gears at awkward cornering speeds. Requires Clutch / Transmission upgrades to counteract sluggish shifts. Intermediate option. Manual with Clutch - Gives the player full control over shifting and clutch. Allows for advanced techniques such as clutch kicking, powershifting and decreasing shift times significantly, as it no longer relies on the Clutch upgrade path. Only Transmission upgrades needed for shifting speed boost. Expert / fastest option.

To make separate areas for A/M/MC transmissions though would be subdivisions upon subdivisions which would, as far as I see it, get very confusing and unintuitive fast. We can however, see if there can be extra data entries, similar to Car Class, for Transmission / other Assists.
