Washington, USARapid Runs 4 Fun aims to create a positive impact in the gaming community by providing a welcoming space for speedrunners. Our goal is to highlight amazing individuals and games that often go unnoticed. We want our community to see RR4F as a place to connect with others, improve as a runner, learn new skills, and support each other.
Founded by VexGamingTV, SongofSoil, and with the help of Ghibli Guy, our vision is to build a platform where runners of different games and skill levels can come together and expand their horizons. We've noticed that speedrunning fosters tight knit communities, with many runners sticking to their own game or series. We want to change that by promoting unity and encouraging runners to try new games, even if they're not familiar with them in hopes this will break through social boundaries in speedrunning.
To encourage friendly competition and offer community events, we host Bounties, where players compete for cash prizes by achieving the fastest time in a selected game within a specific time frame. We make sure to include games from various genres, many of which are lesser-known.
Another event we plan to organize is Battle Night, where two runners face off in a 1v1 Blind Speedrun. They have one hour to see who can progress the furthest in a game they've never played before. This event tests their adaptability and fosters a sense of camaraderie.
We currently have 2 bounties on-going for a prize pool of $100
We also want to have Movie Nights, where the community suggests movies and votes on which one to watch each month. This gives runners a chance to relax and socialize in our Discord server.
In the future, we plan to host Speedrun Marathons. These marathons will showcase the skills and talents of our community while also raising funds for charitable causes. We believe your passions and hobbies can make a difference.

Hello runners, I'm a new runner for soulstice and wanted to Introduce myself.
Ive currently learned the run up to chapter 9 and it's been a blast re-routing and finding small time saves.
Not sure if anyone is active but I'd love to add people on discord to discuss the game and the route.
Girl Genius: Adventures in castle heterodyne is a 3D Action Adventure Puzzle game that has you playing as Agatha, a quick witted and strong armed spark. (mad scientist)
You will arm yourself with multiple gadgets as you solve puzzles, upgrade your arsenal, and take on bosses through Castle Heterodyne to reclaim it.
There is two catagories as of right now: Any% & 100% but there is possibilities for more such as: Dingbot%, Portrait%, & Arena%.
Currently there is 1 major skip, a few shortcuts, and some tech that has been found, the any% run currently sits at 55 mins.

After great success with the first event I've decided to up this up to the public.
Rival Runners is an event based off of GDQ Hotfix's Grudge Matches, but is held in a tournament format where two runners are pitted against each other and play a game neither of the runners have played so essentially a blind speedrun with a 1 hour time limit to see who can either beat the game or get the furtherest.

Timer Starts when selecting Start Game from the Main Menu.
Timer Ends after finishing the Final Area.
No Clipping of any sort (Enemy, Crouch or Save Clipping is prohibited) If a clip occurs within your run you will need to reset your run or load a previous save within the same run to continue (This was voted on by the community)
No covering any load symbols.
No Tampering with Game Files.
Game Audio must be able to be heard in your submission.
No 3rd Party Software (Except RivaTuner as explained in the next rule)
FPS capped at 60! Must Show FPS in Recording/Streaming of your Submission (Can use RivaTuner to cap your FPS)
The run does not need to be streamed but must be posted to the discord or SRC. (Once a page is made) First Runner to make an SRC Page will earn an extra award.
Top 3 fastest times by the end of the event gets the prizes.

The reason for the deadline: I'll be doing these every month and want to focus on different projects instead of keeping the same event open especially if it doesn't get any involvement.
The next event will be posted in March with a 2 week deadline as well.
