I really don't get the point. At the end of the day it is gameplay, yeah you're not interacting with things, you're on a rail, but it's still movement optimization. I don't really care much if it happens though. If anything, I'll say that we're 1 week into the game (even less) and talking about dividing runners already with a meme category seems weird to me. Totally deserves more time, thinking and knowledge of the run before jumping on that ship imo. + I don't think cutting 6mn of """cutscene"""/gameplay would make the people stick to the run. RE7 was successful here on SRC even with literally unskippable cutscenes, it even opened a door to speedrunning for many people. So yeah I kinda back Zgl on that point; people say they want no-intro but watch the board be like 10 people running it, at least that's what happened when you look at RE7 or RE3R

FYI:

Video doesn't show it but the V2 thing is just below the frame rate limiter (at least on my Profile Inspector)

I had really shitty fps drops (down to 40fps on lowest settings/resolution) without the V2 mode, couldn't get 120 fps even with a decent rig (1080gtx/Ryzen1K7x) but adjusting the Frame rate limiter mode fixed it -at least without streaming- .

1080gtx, ryzen 1700x 16gb ram here and game turned to shit using the nvidia profiler thingy for some reason. Lowest resolution + close to no "processing load" and I still don't get 120 fps on boss fights. I even drop to 40 fps in the garage part. I paid to have a chance to get a profile badge saying "1" and it doesn't work what do @Orchlon ? PepeHands

(Edit: No, seriously, does anybody else ran into the same issue ? I still have tests to do, but asking could save me some time fiddling around settings and switching to rivatuner etc. If someone has a clue DM me, i'll be your valentine today)

Let me get this straight;

I'm totally new on this board, I rejected your run because, indeed, it's a screencapture and I based my judgment on the 1 to 5 levels' rules. Because for me it's irrelevant to have differents rules for each individual level.

Anyway, my personal opinion is that this board is really sloppy and needs to be reworked ASAP for mostly 2 reasons;

• What is the point of "speedrunning" individual levels with IGT when the IGT is clearly broken and allows you to have negative values on the timer but the run is lasting 26mn in Real Time (cf. IL's 5 WR). Imo, ILs should be timed in RTA

• Why allowing WRs with screencaptures on certain ILs when on others ILs you need video proof ?

So I don't know who actually cares about this board or the game, I see it as a funny meme (moto m3m3 btw), but if anyone around here wants to be competitive on this game the leaderboard needs a definitive set of rules and serious moderation. I can help with that but we'd need serious discussion about how people feel about this game/board

Seems fair to me, but as you said we have yet to go through the DLCs to figure what is doable or not. Otherwise i'm not a big fan of RTA, I know for console it'll be -most likely- unavoidable but for PC I think it would be more accurate - IF - someone would like to mess up with game markers/cues. I'd be glad to do it myself but unfortunately I have no skill whatsoever in "gamedata mining" or whatever it's called
